## What is GlobiLab?

Wireless data collection for iPad with up to 15 built-in science sensors

The GlobiLab software for iPad makes K-12 science experiments mobile, convenient and immediate anytime, anywhere! GlobiLab wirelessly integrates between the award winning Labdisc data logger with 15 built-in sensors and the iPad: Allowing setup and data analysis of hands-on experiments for biology, chemistry, environmental science, math, physics and even geography. GlobiLab software for iPad was specifically designed to engage students and help visualize complex science concepts by harnessing the iPad built-in accelerometer sensor, data display, multimedia and multi-touch features. 

GlobiLab employs colourful data displays in a variety of meter types, intuitive icons and iPad multi-touch to deliver an even more immediate learning experience. For example, students can use map, zoom, pinch and pan gestures to view and analyze collected GPS experiment data displayed on a satellite map.

Additional multimedia features include advanced markers and annotation functionality, allowing text and images to be added at key points along the graph and enabling students to tell the experiment story behind their data results.

GlobiLab iPad software includes the following features:
•Working with iPad, iPad 2 and 3rd generation iPad models
•Variety of data displays including: Meters, table, bar graph, line graph and satellite Maps
•File management: Open and save samples to the iPad
•Labdisc management: Setup of all data logging parameters, online display of current measurements (up to 100 samples/sec.) and download of the Labdisc sample memory
•Graph manipulations: Markers, zoom, crop, text and image annotation
•Data analysis: Including statistics and curve fitting
•Full interactive experiment curriculum for K-12 biology, chemistry, environmental science, math and physics.
