Everything works on my PC but the app is now completely useless to me. ### 1/5 — Bad update… *2025-06-14, version 3.1.1* Since the new branding and changes, functions are much worse. It’s definitely a downgrade rather than an upgrade to the system. I see empty messages threads, reduced functionality, can’t even copy and paste into messages. ### 1/5 — Not functional *2025-06-10, version 3.1.0* The old app was working fine. Since it updated to this new logo it has progressively gotten worse. It is not sending out broadcasts, I have to use the web. Plus when I open the app for too long it opens the same add repeatedly that cannot be closed and I have to restart to make it go away. Old app was great, this makes your service browser based only. Limited communication since. Super glad that I haven’t yet paid for the upgraded service. I would have been one irate customer. Old app was fine. It won’t allow any of the admin team to log in. It says “failed otp” ### 2/5 — What Happened??? *2025-05-16, version 3.0.0* Yall had a great app and service going that I have loved using, but since you’ve updated the app, it’s been awful. It keeps kicking me out. It doesn’t allow me the same length of message I’ve sent before for a single credit. After I send a message, the text I’ve sent stay in the box and so I have to delete it all before I can begin a new one. And again, it keeps logging me out and now allowing me back in. I’ve had to delete and redownload 3 times now. Please fix this or let me go back to the previous version. After I leave and come back, it requires me to log in again but gives me an OTP error and will not let me in. If I remove the app and reinstall it, it will let me log in after I get the confirmation code email, but then will give me the OTP error again every time. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Verify *2026-07-05, version 2026.22.0* Every time I send the one time code to my email once signing up, it keeps saying invalid code ### 1/5 — Complete corporate greed. *2026-06-18, version 2026.22.0* Gloo has officially abandoned any pretense of serving ministries. What started as a free resource has been changed repeatedly, and this latest update is the final straw. Not only did they gut the free tier, but now they are coming after their paying Gloo+ members.Slashing the Gloo+ credit limit from 15,000 down to a measly 5,000 credits per month—while keeping the price exactly the same—is a massive 66% reduction in value. To make matters worse, they have the nerve to charge an extra $75/month for "Powerpacks" just to get back a fraction of what we were already paying for. They claim this is to "sustain their commitment," but it is painfully obvious they care more about filling their pockets than supporting their customers. It is a classic bait-and-switch. Do not trust this company with your ministry's communication. ### 1/5 — Hate update *2026-03-23, version 2026.18.1* Slashed 10,000 into 500, but claimed it was free. ### 1/5 — New app is terrible, bait and switch on pricing *2026-03-21, version 2026.18.1* The new app is terrible, you have to log in, every time. Can’t stay logged in, and has to have a code from email. Once you wait for the code and get logged in, you are very limited in what you can do, can’t even work on groups. Plus the messaging is now useless. The ‘free for churches’ model has apparently been abandoned and now they want $50 a month just to send messages. Shame on you for misleading and ripping off all of us churches who use (used) your service. ### 1/5 — LOGIN EVERY TIME, HUH? *2026-02-25, version 2026.18.1* I have to login every single time to use the app. And not with name and password, but with an email and an email code. Every time I use it, it takes minutes to get going. This seems easily fixable, please do. ### 1/5 — Gloo+ forced upgrade *2026-02-18, version 2026.18.1* We feel completely deceived by Gloo. We joined their platform to participate in their evangelism campaigns under the explicit promise that the tools were free for churches (supposedly covered by donors). We invested time onboarding our congregation and setting up workflows, only for them to pull the rug out from under us. Out of nowhere, they slashed the free monthly credits from 10,000 down to just 500. This renders the "free" tier useless for any church actually trying to communicate with their people. We are now being forced to upgrade to the paid "Gloo+" tier just to maintain the service we were promised was free. If we had known this would happen, we never would have migrated our data here. It feels like they used the "free" model just to trap churches into their ecosystem before monetization. Proceed with caution. ### 1/5 — Codes *2026-01-01, version 3.2.3* How can I use the app if every code that is sent to me is invalid , I mean my phone automatically inputs it I manually input it doesn’t matter app still says every code is invalid ### 1/5 — Another syncing issue *2025-12-06, version 3.2.3* The web interface is so good. You open the app again later after the scheduled send time and it finally sends. Glitchy. Bad App. *2025-09-10, version 3.1.6* Gloo is the best mass texting system thay I’ve used. I send 3 or 4 broadcasts per week, which I can do on the app. However, the app is super limited compared to what Gloo can do on my computer. It is actually super cool on a desktop, but all I can do on the app is send broadcasts (mass texts) and respond to messages. I can’t manage workflows (keywords). I can’t add contacts. Also, the notifications are a bit weird. Like, why can’t it just notify me of a message like a regular messaging app? And at the present moment I can’t even log into the app on my phone. I have to use it on the computer. Hence the title: Good system. I can no longer find information about those who are assigned to me. Thus I have no idea where they’re writing from, which makes it hard to connect them with local churches and other resources.
