## What is GlossBook?

GlossBook helps you read foreign-language books without breaking your flow.

Point your camera at a printed page, tap a word, and get a clear translation that uses the surrounding sentence for context. Instead of stopping to type words into a dictionary, you stay with the book and keep reading.

GlossBook is built for readers, language learners, and anyone trying to enjoy printed books in another language.

GlossBook is not a full-page translator. It is designed for the way people actually read: one unfamiliar word or phrase at a time, without losing the thread of the story.

GlossBook includes a limited allowance of context-aware online translations. An optional GlossBook Pro auto-renewable subscription, available monthly or yearly, provides continued access to context-aware translations. You can continue using supported on-device translation without subscribing.

Your privacy: Camera images stay on your device and are never uploaded. For a context-aware online translation, GlossBook sends only the tapped word, its surrounding sentence, and your chosen translation language. On-device offline translations do not send this text to GlossBook’s server.
