## What is glot.it?

Thai has five tones. Mess one up and "horse" becomes "dog."

glot.it shows you where your tone slipped with a pitch-contour mirror, then brings words back right before you forget them using FSRS spaced repetition. 162 structured lessons — plus music, podcasts, and conversation practice when you want a break from drills.

Order pad thai at a night market. Read a menu on the BTS. Chat through 12 everyday scenarios with a tutor who corrects your wording and pronunciation. Paste song lyrics for line-by-line Thai and romanisation. Point your camera at Thai text on signs and packaging.

Each lesson runs five phases: learn vocabulary, read in context, listen to native audio, speak with feedback, and drill with a mixed test. Your word bank saves every word you study, tracked automatically with FSRS so the words you struggle with come back sooner. The Thai alphabet guide covers consonants, vowels, tone marks, and handwriting practice.

All 162 lessons are open from day one. Works offline. Optional Supporter tier for extra tutor turns.
