### 4/5 — So far so good!

*2026-01-28, version 1.9.11*

I would love if there was a stats page with the prices and stuff! That would be super cool.

### 4/5 — Good routine app

*2024-06-06, version 1.9.8*

I love that you can change the frequency of using a product. Doctor told me to start using a product every 3rd night and needed an app to help me stay on top of this routine.

The user interface is okay and I wish they had widgets.

### 4/5 — Great App

*2024-03-02, version 1.9.3*

I love this app it’s super useful though I’ll admit I may have gone overboard with adding things haha (please don’t add an item limit, it’d break my heart)

My only complaints are I wish I could sort my tags by color, I’ve been trying to have the same amount of each color (9 reds, 9 pinks, 9 blues, etc) it’d make that easier.

My next complaint is the app started to lag a little bit after the 300-400 item mark (I have a problem lol). Though I’m currently just chalking that up to me either not updating the app or my obsessive additions is causing the app to slow. When I go to add tags it takes a while for anything to pop up so I can search or click on them. And when I’m scrolling down in my wishlist there a little lag when loading stuff but that’s because of my many items, just a mild inconvenience I’ll live.

(Probably doesn’t change the problem but I think the addition of a scroll wheel like the one in the category menu, but for the wishlist/collections, that lets you scroll to a spot based on the letter would be a cool addition and helpful if you have a large wishlist)

Besides that I’d say the app is perfect. One another note, an app like this would be game changing for my non beauty related hobbies. The ability to document items, info on them and sort them all in one app is amazing. If you guys make an app exactly like this but for non beauty related items, let me know I’ll be the first person to try it 👀

If not, I think adding the ability to make your own custom main categories, like main 7 (Makeup/Skincare/Nails/Hair/etc) would make for a great new feature so I could use it for other purposes.

This review is mostly just me rambling but to sum it all up. Great app, thank you to the creators for making it, I’d make a few tweaks but the app is so great on its own that I would never stop using it. A sister app would be cool if you want to take that idea. Just saying 🤷‍♀️

4.5 / 5 Stars

### 3/5 — Would like more user features

*2024-01-14, version 1.9.2*

I would like to be able to state what a product is. I added a lip balm and it categorized it as makeup, a body oil was categorized as skincare. I would like the ability to change these to fit my needs more. Then subcategories within. So bodycare and then oils.

### 3/5 — Feedback from a Functional Tech Consultant - It has great potential

*2023-12-28, version 1.9.2*

A couple of suggestions to improve the User Experience and Design.

- A more sleek design, if this is aimed at users who care about their beauty product inventory then the design should be more polished and less scrappy

- The navigation is not very intuitive, the task of scanning each product or manually uploading it is already laborious, the navigation should be dead easy.

- What is the main purpose of your users using the product? I’d love to see statistics to tell users how much they have spent each day, week , month and year on products. It would also be great to run reports and also set expected budgets to help control spending

I do have more suggestions and happy to pop them in an email. It’s an ok app with a lot more room to grow

### 5/5 — Best Beauty Tracker App

*2023-12-21, version 1.9.0*

Hands down this is the best app to track your skincare/beauty products out there. You can add quantities, sizes and prices for all your items. Whenever there’s a sale I’ll check this app to see what I need to stock up on.

I recommend this app to everyone. The people that love it the most are my makeup artist friends. It really helps keep track of all your makeup inventory, whether you’re a pro or makeup for fun person like myself.

I also love the fact that it allows you to build your routines. I have a day & night skincare as well a a haircare routine built and I use it daily. Honestly just download and try this app for yourself, there are really no cons!

The best part about this app is that you’re getting a premium app for free!! Thanks for that and keep up the great work!!

### 4/5 — Phenomenal App

*2023-08-09, version 1.8.1*

This app is phenomenal! I’ve been busy with it since I downloaded it. Many items in my “stash” were not listed so I manually added them, which was easy to do.
My only fear if you will, is the inability to backup what amounts to a personal database.
There are options to share links or photos, which is impressive in itself but not an option to export in a manner that would allow to upload if you switch phones, wipe data, reset, etc
With over 400 items and counting, I would not want to add back what could be lost.
Thank you to the developer(s), this is fantastic!

### 5/5 — Well done

*2023-08-08, version 1.8.1*

This app is very well done. It’s got some hiccups but overall it’s very intuitive. Took me some time to get call my products in and create my routines, which was fun cause I love routines.

The way it’s set up this can be used for tracking many different routines. I made a routine for makeup, skin, hair, microneedling and some meds I take.

I really like the look book too. I always forget what I used and can’t recreate a look that I liked. This way I can keep track.

### 3/5 — Good but buggy, no way to contact developers

*2023-05-24, version 1.7.46*

I’ve been using this app for over a year and while I like it there are definitely some hiccups. Today I tried contacting the dev team via their website’s contact form and both on mobile and desktop I get a “please enter a message” error when I try to send.

My main issue at the moment is the app created a second category for my perfumes called “fragrances” and there’s seemingly no way to merge the lists back to the original “perfume” list, and all new items added automatically go to “fragrance”. I waited a few weeks to see if this would be fixed by an update but no luck. There’s also some bugs when adding photos, and sometimes the wrong product images show up in random spots. The structure of the app is good and my favourite out of the ones I’ve tried, but the bugs are frustrating, as is the inability to ask for help.

### 3/5 — Please stop harassing about notifications…

*2023-05-12, version 1.7.45*

Literally every. single. time I open the app I get asked about turning on notifications. The options are “Yes” or “Not Now” which not now leads to being harassed every time I open the app. I don’t want notifications on… AT ALL. And I’m past annoyed to be harassed to turn them on. Stop. Just stop.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and valuable!!!

*2023-05-06*

I love that I can see the total value of my makeup. It took time to add everything since the database is not vast (yet) but it was worth the time and effort :) highly recommend!!

**Developer response:** Hi szkygnlj, thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. We are super happy to know that you found this app helpful and worthwhile. And you are right, we are always working on adding new products to our database, it will be growing! :)

### 4/5 — I enjoy this app

*2023-04-01, version 1.7.42*

I do like this app. Right now there is a bug where I can’t take photos.

### 5/5 — Best makeup app ever

*2023-02-16, version 1.7.33*

This is my most used app. It’s so simple and easy to use and it gives me a lot of satisfaction to keep it updated. I probably go into it at least 3 times per day (yes, I’m obsessed with my makeup collection lol). Also, if you encounter any issues, you can reach out and get answers super quick.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Great in theory: horrible in reality

*2026-07-28, version 1.9.11*

The email never comes for verification and app doesn’t have half the products.

### 1/5 — Complaint

*2025-02-16, version 1.9.11*

Doesn’t have most skincare and makeup brands

### 1/5 — Unable to Begin

*2024-06-10, version 1.9.8*

The app asks to do a simple email verification when you make your account, which is very understandable. The problem is that the email never arrives. I’ve asked for a resubmission, waited hours, verified my email address to make sure there wasn’t a spelling error or something on my part, but the email just never comes, and without the verification you cannot continue to use the app. So unfortunately due to this error I cannot even see what the app is actually like.

### 1/5 — can’t get into the app

*2024-02-09, version 1.9.3*

the app froze & asked me to sign in again. it doesn’t recognize my password. I clicked ‘forgot my password’ nothing was sent to my email. I checked my junk folder. I clicked the contact us in the App Store & filled out the form to have nothing happen when I clicked send. I have a lot of stuff in the app I apparently just lost

### 1/5 — Limited

*2022-08-19, version 1.7.24*

Doesn’t have more than half the beauty products I use. Not a lot of Kbeauty and tedious to add them manually

### 1/5 — Tedious / clumsy

*2022-05-07, version 1.6.10*

Spent an hour inputting my products because only 3 were in the system. Then it makes you create routines instead of just being able to check off what you used each day - I don't use the same routine every day and after an hour and a half of setup I gave up and deleted the app

### 2/5 — No support

*2026-04-18, version 1.9.11*

At first, loved the app. But I updated my email and lost two years of it worth of data. Tried contacting web support/developer to no reply. Be careful if you care about information.

### 2/5 — Product database severely lacking

*2025-07-16, version 1.9.11*

I’m trying to figure out the best way to use this app and I am so, so frustrated. The vast majority of my (common brand) products are NOT in the searchable database. I have been painstakingly entering them manually. The few I was able to search and find pop up in weird categories, separate from the manually entered products. I tried changing the categories, but not all products are able to be entered. Example: manually entered under “masks”, but similar products that I’m able to search are automatically “face masks”-a category not available for manual products.

### 2/5 — It’s ok

*2025-02-17, version 1.9.11*

It’s ok but very buggy and inconsistent. Some products don’t show up in your collections no matter how many times you add them (both existing products and manually added products) and it’s so frustrating because what’s the point?

### 2/5 — Disappointing

*2021-07-05, version 1.5.11*

There are many products that aren’t included. The app only works in portrait form, rather than horizontal, which is better when using an iPad.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I can see my whole makeup “wardrobe”

*2026-08-03, version 1.9.11*

If you’ve ever wondered which of your lip liners best matches a lip color (or vice versa), or wondered if you had any gaps in your eyeshadow collection, GlowInMe is just what you need.

I especially love the swatch gallery, where I can see what each product actually looks like on my very pink skin. It helps me match tones and shows me how many similar colors I have, which helps me make smarter buying decisions.

I’m not gonna lie: entering each makeup item is tedious, especially for a large collection. But as investments of time go, it pays off pretty well.

I do wish there were a community of GlowInMe users where we could exchange tips and compare swatches or something similar.

### 5/5 — Great Tool for Project Pan

*2025-12-16, version 1.9.11*

Takes a bit of time to set everything up, but I love now having an inventory of all my products. It helps me to use up what I have and not buy new products when they aren’t needed.

### 5/5 — Perfect for the makeup lovers!

*2025-06-10, version 1.9.11*

I am a makeup lover and have access to so much makeup and beauty products due to work, so it’s been really hard to keep track of everything. Now I finally have my own makeup inventory!

### 5/5 — Fabulous

*2025-05-24, version 1.9.11*

I LOVE this app it helps me track all my makeup

### 5/5 — Great app, a must have

*2025-05-21, version 1.9.11*

Hello! My network accidentally failed when I was uploading an image, and now whenever I try to load that item, the app crashes. How can I delete this item without entering the detail page?

### 5/5 — This has become a necessity

*2025-03-13, version 1.9.11*

This app has brought new life to my make-up, skincare, tools, and fragrances! When I took the time to catalog my products, it felt like I was on a shopping spree. With everything organized in the app, it’s now like having my own personal shopping website! And…it has saved me so much money because I am no longer duplicating purchases for items I already own.
It’s easy and intuitive. Adding new items is a breeze from photos to descriptions. I absolutely love this app and wish I had found it sooner.

I would like a way add multiple tags at once, or organize tag by color but those are minor in the scope of the whole app.

### 5/5 — Daily app!!!

*2025-02-20, version 1.9.11*

This has become an app I use daily. I love it so much and I pray that it will continue to update and expand. I am entering all the products I want to try and also keeping a chronicle of what I have, what I would or wouldn’t buy again, and my holy grails. The one thing I could think of right now to make it even more amazing is a bar code scanner. How amazing would it be to be able to scan a product and add it to your wish list or your stash? Is this something you will consider? Thank you!!! Heather from NC

### 5/5 — Great!

*2024-08-03, version 1.9.8*

I Love this app pls dont abandon it. And theres also no ads🩷

### 5/5 — I love being able to keep a log!

*2024-05-04, version 1.9.5*

The only complaint I have is that I have a highlighter and blush pack I wanted to log, but it made me choose one. Other than that it has a bunch of products already logged and I’m sure that’ll only increase!

### 5/5 — Great App for Beauty Lovers

*2024-02-03, version 1.9.2*

This app is the perfect companion to someone who is all things beauty. I’d say the app is fairly easy to use, playing around and seeing what happens helps. It’s got a great tagging feature, which is clutch. My only grievance is with the “Routines”. I wish you could create your own routines, technically, yes that is a current feature, but then have only one calendar that allows you to see what routine you used on a given day. Having each routine have its own calendar seems out of place with all the other wonderful tagging features. Overall, products are easy to find and add. And I’ve enjoyed using it. No more running to a different room to check a shade name.
(ps - I would love to see more product types available for skincare, bath and body and even brushes/tools, a lot of that becomes a manual entry).
