And unintuitive. Presets randomly gives an error screen and I have reload from a backup. The presets also fail to execute properly. Trying to create light sets is equally as frustrating. Most times the simple task of creating a preset from a light set simply doesn’t work. Been trying some 3rd party alternates but haven’t settled on one yet. Given price of the lights, it’s disappointing to have to deal with such as app. ### 2/5 — Can’t even open the app *2025-01-05, version 2.8.9* The app is fine but only when I can open it. It’s almost fraud the way you install lights for a fortune and it doesn’t work as advertised. How would you not want to bury your head in the sand if you were an employee of glowstone. Every year lights give out they come out for warranty. Nothing but problems with the app and connectivity. My lights stopped turning on when on a schedule and now I cannot connect to the app. ### 1/5 — App needs work *2024-10-30, version 2.8.1* I love the Glowstone lighting system however the app leaves a lot to desire. Apps for other lighting systems give a lot more control and options. Doesn’t seem to work outside the home network, and isn’t user friendly at all. It seems they built it once years ago and haven’t touched it since. Every year they need To come out and repair a remove an LED and put a new one in that stops working. This takes the whole string out. They continued selling these Lights knowing of the issues. They have since been changed. This new app feels like it’s half complete. The schedule is buggy. It duplicates schedule lights. The times change to 9:000 for 9am. We made that mistake and are now stuck with this awful app and boring lights.
