## What is GLPenPal?

GLPenPal is a private peer support community for people using GLP-1 medications.

Starting a GLP-1 medication such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, or Saxenda can feel isolating. GLPenPal helps people connect privately with others on a similar treatment journey to share encouragement, accountability, and personal experiences.

How it works

• Discover members with similar medications, treatment stages, and goals.

• Send a connection request to another member. A private conversation becomes available only when both members accept.

• Check in at your own pace—daily, weekly, or whenever works best for you.

• Encourage each other, celebrate milestones, and share progress throughout your journey.

Features

• Private one-to-one messaging

• No public feeds or follower counts.

• Share only what you're comfortable sharing.

• Report or block users at any time.

• A supportive and respectful community focused on shared GLP-1 experiences.

Important

GLPenPal is a peer support community for sharing personal experiences. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your healthcare decisions.

Join the GLPenPal community today and connect with others who understand the GLP-1 journey.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-08-19

Matching, improved
• Fixed a bug where people you'd already passed on or connected with kept
  reappearing in your deck.
• Removed the three-buddy limit — you can now connect with as many pen pals
  as you like.
• Match cards are cleaner and lead with what you genuinely have in common,
  including shared hobbies.
• A short tutorial the first time you open Matches.

A calmer Home
• Buddy cards now open up when something has actually happened — a milestone,
a hard day, an injection day — and stay compact when it hasn't.
• "Check on…" sends a one-tap note without opening the chat.
• Your daily check-in is clearer about what your buddies can see.

Your profile
• Add your own interests, not just the ones we suggest.

Plus fixes and polish throughout.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

Fixes an issue where the signup questions could restart before you finished and
where the app could open in landscape on iPhone. Removes options that only
applied to the web version. New app icon and updated screenshots.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-13
