NOTIFICATIONS: SMARTER, FEWER
Alerts and notifications invade our lives and can be distracting and overwhelming.
Gluroo uses a new method of coordinated smart notifications which makes sure the right set of people get alerted at the right times. Every alert is actionable. For example, if the person with diabetes (PWD) has low blood sugar, Gluroo will alert them first and give them a chance to address the low.
If they don’t address it within a few minutes, the alert will roll over to the rest of the GluCrew. This lets the PWD develop responsibility and confidence while always having someone else ready to back them up - and reducing alarm fatigue in the process!

SEARCH AND INSIGHTS
As you log meals, doses, exercise and more, you build up a valuable data source. I wanted an app that uses widgets and since the Dexcom follow app no longer does that, I had to find something else. This app does that for all the screens. It’s nice to glance at and it makes my life a little easier.

I love gluroo, but I NEED them to STOP updating the app. They completely removed insulin & food markers from the charts, which renders that specific part of gluroo completely useless for me when I relied on that to make better medical decisions in the moment and the future. I’m incredibly disappointed. Every app update it’s as if we get farther and farther away from the app actually being useful design & functionality wise. Not to mention, the people I’ve shared my sugar with on here can’t even see it half the time, rendering gluroo’s sharing capabilities also completely useless. What a shame, this app was a lifesaver when I found it and it keeps declining for me every update, especially recently.

I used to love this app as it changed my life with T1. Have emailed them about bugs but no fixes. This app just switches off now randomly whilst their recent update has included a cartoon image when logging insulin. I might suggest focussing on the basics of app operation rather than gimmicks. And yes, I do have frequent updates/pushes, always on cgm display etc. Just doesn’t work like it used to! And it was an amazing app!
