It’s not worth it! It has no scanner, you have to search individual ingredients and it’ll only tell you if a product is naturally gluten free. Ex. Beans and lentils, however, this is considered a high risk cross contact item. Avoid spending the money and get a free barcode scanner app ### 1/5 — Not great *2025-02-14* So the app seems to be just a list of ingredients that might have gluten. Maybe I should have read the description closer. I thought this would be a food database. Who cares if an ingredient has gluten or not? if the product is made in a factory where they process gluten, than the product is still unsafe. Knowing that the constituent parts of the product are gluten free is meaningless. ### 1/5 — So low functioning *2022-06-06* This app is definitely not worth the cost. Some of the information is too high level, there’s no description of what the yellow means, there’s no technical breakdown of many high category foods and the search function is really poor. Seulement en anglais ### 1/5 — Too basic, not practical *2016-06-16* The app has basic search functionality for basic ingredients and very general things - it does not have the ability to filter your search or search results. It also does not allow you to search for products. The user experience also forces me to press back to search again where as the search bar should be always present if that's the main functionality of the site. As someone who has a gluten allergy I don't find this app helpful. I want to find out if my product has gluten in it - without having the results coming back and saying "sorry, no results." **Developer response:** We recently rebuilt the app with improvements that should address some of your concerns. But this app is so easy to use and now she can look things up while she's shopping to help her figure this all out! All I can say is thank you for this app!!!! ### 1/5 — Not working Jan 2015 *2015-01-24* Unfortunately, trying to demonstrate the app at a Celiac Chapter planning meeting, app will not display data. **Developer response:** I'm not sure what would have caused that, but my guess is a lack of internet or a very strict connection.
