I really appreciate the efforts for translating wheat and gluten issues into other languages for safe traveling. However, I hope these cards can be amended. Hopefully the portion that says ‘foods I can eat’ can be updated to only ‘what grains I can eat’. These cards would also be an issue for those that are lactose intolerant or vegan. ### 1/5 — Not detailed enough at all *2022-12-14, version 3.2.0* These have the ability to be amazing BUT they aren’t enough to keep us safe. And the language barrier issue means we can’t add more information to build on it. I prefer the equal eats app. More detailed. Also free and not limited to just celiac so it may be good to have for a diverse eating population. ### 4/5 — No soy sauce *2022-07-23, version 3.2.0* I like the idea of this app, especially with travel, but if I were to show this to someone Asian, they wouldn’t realize that I can’t have soy sauce. I’d give it 5 stars if it mentioned soy sauce. ### 3/5 — No soy sauce *2017-10-19, version 3.1* Great idea, but it doesn't mention soy sauce, so that limits its usefulness for Asian travel and restaurants. ### 2/5 — Helpful ??? *2017-09-13, version 3.1* The first time I showed this card to a server in Spain, they gave me back the card, shrugged their shoulders and walked away. The card is too "in your face" - the comment "I may therefore become very ill if I eat food containing flours...." is too strong, it scared the uninformed. I wol dlike a gentler but informative card! ### 5/5 — Amazing. Has saved me many a times *2017-06-21, version 3.1* As a Coeliac this has been beyond useful when travelling to non English speaking countries. I have just come back from Argentina & Peru and I never got sick once! I would show it to the waiter in their preferred language (works offline) and they immediately understood my requirements. However, I would love to be able to message or email the card to the restaurant whenever I have to telephone order a take-out meal. Being unable to get out to restaurants now, this would be helpful.
