### 2/5 — Not as Good as I had hoped

*2026-03-11*

Downloaded and started working with the app right away. Food database is not that extensive, I couldn’t even add “coffee”, “ bacon” or “whole wheat english muffin”. Food search needs to have the first letter of the food capitalized. No option to change food unit from Metric to Imperial. No option to add foods.

### 5/5 — Exceptional 😍

*2025-04-12*

I was looking for a comprehensive app with nutritional info on foods especially their Glycmeic index and info. And this ticks ✅ the box. I also love the glycemic load tracking functionality this is just great 😊.

### 1/5 — Nothing is free

*2025-02-17*

I hate “free” apps that say in-app purchase available but is completely unusable if not paid

### 2/5 — Not sure what this can do for me, not easy to use

*2025-02-01*

I was hoping to use this to get some idea of what foods were doing to my blood sugar through out the day. Unfortunately, the database is not complete (has basmati rice but not brown basmati rice for example), and you have to manually look up a food then memorize the data, then go enter that data yourself in the tracking area. The foods in the database also do not list the quantities for the numbers given, and with no way to just click to add to the log, this just seems far too cumbersome to be helpful for me. Perhaps others will be able to make better use of it.

### 1/5 — Asks for a review before first use!

### 5/5 — All in one. ☝️

*2025-01-10*

The user interface is clean and simple, all the glycemic load and index data is in one place, and it also tracks my daily glycemic load. I also cook for my husband, who’s diabetic like me, and this app has made meal planning so much easier.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your thoughtful review! I am so glad to hear that the app is helping you track your glycemic load and simplify meal planning for both you and your husband. Your feedback means a lot to me! If you have any suggestions for improvements, I'd love to hear them. Wishing you both good health! 😊
