The keywords are mostly the same so it was an easy transition. Hang tight, we’ll have the new emoji out in the near future. ### 4/5 — This is mostly great—it just doesn’t let you select skin tones *2019-12-03, version 1.1.3* This emoji-search keyboard works fantastically much of the time, and you may as well give it a shot. Earlier versions of this app used to have the shortcoming of being unusable when iOS’s dark mode was on—but due credit to the app’s author as this has been fixed in recent versions and this keyboard now works perfectly well in dark mode! At this point, one of my only remaining quibbles is that this keyboard doesn’t seem to let you choose skin tones for emoji. For instance, suppose that you had wanted to add the metal-horns hand sign to a text message, but you specifically wanted “🤘🏾” or “🤘🏼” (rather than just “🤘”). With this keyboard, that doesn’t seem to be possible (as far as I can tell). It would be great if this keyboard were to let you long-press on an emoji to get a pop-up with skin-tone choices (like with iOS’s native emoji keyboard). Or it’d be icing on the cake if this keyboard were to let you define a default skin tone to use (while still letting you override a given emoji’s skin tone by long-pressing on it). Overall, this is a pretty solid emoji-finder keyboard! **Developer response:** Thanks for the great feedback! I was able to get a solution put together over the weekend to allow skin tone selection on the keyboard.
