## What is Glyph?

Glyph helps you learn Egyptian Arabic by speaking it.
Start with focused guided lessons that teach useful language, let you hear it, and give you a chance to say it aloud. You build your own Egyptian Arabic sentences as you go, so grammar and word order become language you can use. Then use what you have learned in responsive conversation practice designed to help you carry more of the exchange yourself.
Glyph is built for the Arabic that people speak in Egypt. It is for learners who have studied words or grammar before but still freeze when it is time to talk.
With Glyph, you can:
Work through a focused guided Egyptian Arabic foundation.
Build your own useful sentences, not only memorize individual phrases.
Practice words and sentences between lessons.
Review speaking mistakes outside the conversation, where they can become useful practice instead of interruption.
Ask for help with Egyptian Arabic when you need it.
Practice live, responsive spoken exchanges as your foundation grows.
Your guided foundation is only the beginning. After you complete the lessons currently available, Words, Vocabulary Review, Sentence Review, Ask Glyph, Journal, and Live Practice remain open to help you keep building from what you know.
Glyph is a speaking foundation, not a promise of instant fluency. More guided lessons are added as they are ready.

### 5/5 — Great app for learning Arabic

*2026-09-10*

Very easy to use, extremely good UI for language learning.

Very intuitive

### 5/5 — Wish this was here sooner

*2026-09-02*

All language apps I’ve tried in the past tend to not focus on my goal of learning to converse. Glyph does this from the very beginning. It teaches in conversations, while also helping me learn how Arabic actually works. A huge plus it uses English letters instead of Arabic and it even forces me to have live conversations from the very beginning

### 5/5 — Best Learning App for Arabic

*2026-09-02*

This learning app was easy to follow along and after 8 lessons I can already put together some basic sentences. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey to becoming an Arabic speaker.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-09-02*

I’ve only been using this Egyptian Arabic learning app for a short time, but I’m already seeing the benefits! As a beginner, I really appreciate how well organized and easy to follow the lessons are. The interface is great, and the overall structure makes learning Arabic feel much less overwhelming.

One of my favorite features is the ability to actually speak while using the app, which makes the learning experience feel much more interactive and practical. I also really enjoy the chat feature and the vocabulary review, both of which help reinforce what I’m learning.

Overall, I’m really impressed so far and excited to continue learning. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who is beginning their Arabic learning journey!
