I highly recommend doing the lessons and then test yourself and there is also extra practice problems to help you really grasp the concept of the word problems. ### 5/5 — Great app *2012-05-31* I hate math but need to improve my skills for an upcoming GMAT. I've taken several courses but this app is the best tool I have used so far. Not sure what the other reviews mean by "no audio". I listen and watch videos all the time. Sample questions and practice problems that explain answers as well as reference documents for review. This app is great and I am confident that I will score well on the GMAT because of it. ### 5/5 — A friendly teacher who helps you to like math! *2012-02-13, version 3.0* I normally HATE math and I can't believe I have to get back to it for the GMAT… But the teachers in this app explain math in such a friendly manner that it actually encourages me to think of this studying it in a positive way! This isn't the price one would normally pay for an app, but think about it: how much would you pay for a non-interactive book for the GMAT? $30? Well, this is just what it is BUT this is interactive and everything is explained to you out loud and showed in a sequence that helps you understand everything step by step. I have not taken the GMAT yet, but thanks to this app, I am not scared of the math part anymore. Thanks to the teachers who explain everything so well! FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKERS: The teachers speak slowly and clearly, which facilitates the understanding of every single sentence. I am a native French speaker and was hesitant at first, but I understand everything. Also, the teachers are clear about the meaning of every new mathematical word that they use. I haven’t done math in years and really needed to start with the basics. This app gave me a good foundation and then built on that foundation until I began understanding math in a way I never had before. This wasn’t the only study tool I used, but the others would have been useless without this one. Having tried a few questions I just couldn't remember how to get to the answer quickly enough and found the explanations in the book confusing. So I downloaded this app... It's saved my life! The concepts and calculations are very well explained and after a couple of days it is already starting to come back to me.
