## What is Gnomon?

Gnomon puts today's light on your Lock Screen: golden hour, blue hour, sunrise and sunset for any spot — computed on your iPhone, never from a server.

The day is drawn as one readable band of light — night, blue hour, golden hour, day — with a marker showing exactly where you are in it. Add the widget once and the answer to "when is the light?" is simply there, the way the time is there. Before an evening that matters, start a quiet Live Activity and watch the countdown to golden hour on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

What Gnomon does:
- Computes sun and moon times with standard astronomical algorithms (NOAA/Meeus), entirely on your device — it works in airplane mode, anywhere on Earth
- Shows today's light as a Lock Screen widget, a Home Screen widget, and a golden-hour Live Activity countdown
- Plans ahead with a month light-calendar: see golden hour drift through the season, with moon rise and set lines for photographers (Gnomon Pro)

What Gnomon never does:
- Guess. There are no sunset-quality scores and no forecasts — only exact, computed times
- Send your location anywhere. Gnomon has no server, no account, no analytics
- Nag you. No streaks, no notification spam — the only alert is the Live Activity you asked for

The free version is complete for where you are right now: the full day card and the Lock Screen widget for your current location, forever. Gnomon Pro adds saved spots, scheduled Live Activities, and the month light-calendar.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Gnomon offers three ways to unlock Gnomon Pro:
- Monthly $2.99 — auto-renewing subscription, no free trial.
- Annual $19.99/year — auto-renewing subscription, 7-day free trial for new subscribers only.
- Lifetime $29.99 — one-time non-consumable purchase, no subscription. Family-shareable.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription.
