Just says there was a problem. I got so excited to be able to have an app to look at but it just doesn’t work at all :( ### 1/5 — Initially decent . . . Steady decline in function ever since *2022-03-21* This was not bad for the first year or so but over the three years since installed it has become totally useless. If they would just crowdsource listings, but make those very basic (name, address, phone) traffic on the app would grow (not 1 store listed anywhere near me.) Every time I go to use it an error message pops up. Waste of time for me unfortunately. Useless. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Good idea, poor execution *2025-06-29* Saw this on the Antique Map and thought it would be a great way to find antique stores. Alas, this is a great idea in search of some solid engineers to build it. Google Maps is not enabled so you can't use the Build a Route feature. The listings by state? They aren't alphabetical. It's just a random order of towns. This is very unhelpful. Vicinity Search has never opened for me -- it just spins and spins. In short, this app doesn't work in any shape or form. I'm uninstalling it. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2025-06-11, version 1.5* Should have looked at the reviews before I downloaded. App does absolutely nothing on my iPhone. I enabled location services and it could not find the store 3 miles from me despite it being on the list. The list does not sort cities in any particular order. You have to scroll through and hope you find the one you want. Clunky and unresponsive at times. Just use Google Maps and search for Antique Stores. ### 1/5 — Useless *2022-10-18* Downloaded app after finding a stack of advertising fliers in PA in October 2022. It simply doesn’t work. Every time I try to use it I get a “communication error” message. Deleted and reinstalled, still can’t use it. Such a shame. Seemed to have such potential but just doesn’t deliver. ### 1/5 — Clunky and not populated *2022-09-05* Looked like a great idea, the app is clunky not user friendly and has not been populated with almost any information in the northeast needs a lot of work. ### 1/5 — Where is Georgia? *2022-06-18* I downloaded this app immediately when I discovered it in the App Store. I was very excited that it existed!! Once it downloaded I immediately opened it to check it out. I selected the vicinity button off of their homepage only to have it buffer and buffer and buffer and then just do nothing. After trying that a few times I decided to select the state option and see what that would bring up. I discovered that only a few states would load and Georgia is not even one of the states listed…. tried that a few times thought maybe it was a glitch that they were not all loading. I think there’s still 50 states right; not just 10??? anyways, then I selected the destination option and put in my own city and it did the same thing as the vicinity button it just buffered and then went back to the home screen with no results. I deleted the app and then I saw the reviews and how many people were actually using this app. It’s a shame it doesn’t work. fix your stuff…. ### 1/5 — Great idea but the app literally didn’t work *2022-04-12, version 1.4* I can’t get it to work and I have a new iPhone ## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great help *2019-02-26* Truly helpful especially while traveling. The map function means I don’t have to go out to a map program trying to find location specifics. ### 5/5 — Must have for road trips! *2019-01-20* Go-Antiquing is incredibly helpful if you are on a buying trip. The route feature and instant details on shop hours make it so easy to plan. We used the app intensively while traveling south from the northeast. We found multiple shops that we would have missed otherwise. Best thing about the app is that the shop information is fresh, so no more planning a trip to some place that has closed or moved. GREAT APP! ### 5/5 — Awesome! *2018-11-11* Really fun getting out and seeing all these places otherwise overlooked. Allow users to add stores and update the app, this could be great. Also, the scroll on this app is not good. It struggles to find anything in your area or surrounding cities. ### 2/5 — store database needs work *2020-03-07* I have about 30 antique stores in a 25 mile radius and this app sees 4 of them only. Maybe once the database is worthwhile this could be a great app—I’m sure that the number of stores in this app is growing. Maybe it’s just my area (rural area in upstate NY known for antiquing and hipster glamping). Either way, *delete* for now. ### 2/5 — Great Concept, Poor Functionality *2019-06-20* There’s not a lot of shops here (yet) and I’d be willing to overlook that as the app grows, but it is incredibly frustrating to scroll through search results. The app itself is very clunky and time-consuming to use.
