All other options (email, google, etc) take you to create an account and then says you already have an account and ends there with no way to proceed. ### 1/5 — Order was never received and I was charged *2021-10-28, version 1.3.3* Absolutely don’t use this app. I downloaded to pre order my meal at an event as it was being advertised all around the park. After waiting 45 minutes for my order, I approached the staff and they had never received both my orders. They made me provide proof of purchase and my receipt, which was all valid. The manager told me I’d get a refund. Nope — was charged and had to ultimately file a dispute. Never got my food either. All before delivering, no option to cancel, literally no options for anything. Just call the store. The store doesn’t know anything about the app or can answer any questions. Apple this shouldn’t even be on the App Store!! Missed half our order, and then there’s no customer support, nobody to call because the app does nothing to help - they blame the driver which is from Doordash, or the restaurant which can’t control order since it was made from the app. Nice SCAM! Do not use, they just take your money and good luck getting it back when there’s no one to contact ### 1/5 — Terrible Food Delivery App *2021-09-14, version 1.3.1* Not one of my orders have ever come correctly. Missing items, incorrect items, destroyed sushi rolls etc. The app also has tech glitches, malfunctions, and doesn’t allow for calls to some of the restaurants. They take your money and then dispatch your food to an u known network and it never arrived. I placed an order today and it never arrived. They have zero support and their app just says it’ll arrive at 2:38. It’s 5:10 pm right now. I called the restaurant I ordered the food for and it turns out that they’ve had 16 other people call in asking where their food was. The restaurant told me they get orders from this Go By Citizens but then the food just stays there because no one comes to pick it up. Called 3 times - each time it rings 3 times and says - we are not available call back at another time. No way to contact anyone to get a refund. No immediate refunds for missing items. Very inconvenient and honestly untrustworthy. Not worth the “no fees” if I’m just losing the same amount of money on missing food. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Misleading service locations! *2021-07-19, version 1.2.6* I downloaded this app because it included San Francisco in it’s available markets section, but the closest serviced areas are 12 mi across the bay in Oakland, and 87 mi away in Sacramento, that does not equal San Francisco at all! You’re unable to log in with Apple more than once. In the recent update it stopped working altogether. Log in with google doesn’t work either. Don’t waste you time, get your food elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Echoing the concerns of many others - Scam *2022-07-28, version 2.0.1* TL;DR - Do not download or pay within this app - No refunds - Merchant sales food from vendors that don’t exist - Borderline scam with no recourse (no customer service) - Delivery options changed during payment to takeout - Never got my food I downloaded the app because their website for ordering kept crashing. First red flag. My desire for umami burger, which I haven’t had since covid, created a lapse in judgment, so i decided to order from this app. My order was for delivery, but the receipt was for takeout. I caved and drove to the pickup location and was utterly disappointed and frustrated. The food vendor had never heard of the app. I did not get my food, and to add insult to injury, not only was the food vendor closed for the day, they never served this food and they would be closing for good. The aftermath has been worse. There’s no options in the app to get a refund and the only method to contact “Go by Citizens” is through an intake form for business. On top of the many bugs with this app, there’s virtually no customer service and you should abstain from downloading and using this product. It’s a borderline scam and apple should have this app removed considering the plethora of negative reviews echoing these concerns. **Developer response:** Hi we are sad to read about your experience. Thank you ### 1/5 — Took my money, cancelled my order, and never delivered my food. *2022-02-16, version 1.3.4* Ordered food and got charged for it. Then it sent me a text with link to track my order. The link was a DoorDash link. After waiting more than an hour, the DoorDash link said ordered cancelled. The food never showed up and they never refunded me. And they don’t have proper support. It’s impossible to reach any support person to request a refund. Submitted multiple message inquiries in hopes that someone reaches out to me but nothing for over 24 hrs. ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP *2022-01-17, version 1.3.4* Worst experience I’ve ever had with a delivery service app. The customer service is non existent. We ordered the smoked pastrami alla Dario & Nono Dario. Both sandwiches were fantastic in their own right. The pastrami was bold in flavor and served warm. The Nono Dario was exactly what I wanted— light and flavorful. The mortadella was delicious and balanced perfectly with the lemon aloli and pistachio pesto. The bread was soft and held the liquid well. We will definitely be working our way through the entire menu!
