I work in a neonatal intensive care, and whilst there are numerous calculator apps I was always cautious about them. Often they had loads of things I didn't need and not the stuff I did need. I was also worried about the formulas they use. 
This app allows me to set up my own calculations for which I can take full responsibility, and have full faith in. It is one of my favourite apps. 
Setting up the equations does have a couple of quirks, but otherwise works well.

I've used this app for the last 5 years as a clinical dietitian and have been able to input many of the complex calculations I do on a regular basis, which saves me a huge amount of time several times a day, and allows me to do my job far more efficiently, spending more time with patients & families instead of with my calculator :)
One suggestion I would have is to add a 'search' feature, where you can search the name of a calculation you are looking for. With the amount of calcs I now have sometimes it's hard to find what I'm looking for.

Excellent little app. I use it all the time in my sales job for calculating costings on the fly. I have used some quite complex formulas and it handles them no problem. Would be even better if there was a copy function to copy whole calculations

This app is fantastic. i have been looking for something like this for ages, and have finally found it.
it beats the hell out of any of the conversion apps out there, because you can make your own conversions rather than relying on the developers to understand what you're talking about and add it in themselves. And you can make quite complex conversion formulas, with functional UI.

Additional feature request: is there any chance of being able to make text values available as potential results (eg for IF functions, as in IF(a>b,"YES","CUSTARD"))?

Oh, and is there an iPad version planned? that would be the icing on the cake for me

Sometimes multiple results show only one field in reader mode whereas they all show in edit mode.

It seems to be a good product with lot of potential. But it needs lot of improvement work. Moreover, it has stability issues with IOS 5.x versions. Please address these areas ASAP.

I've used the product for some time and like it. But I was disturbed to discover that after I identified a problem with the lg() function (returns incorrect value) that you get a brief email saying it would be looked at at some point and that the ticket was closed. I know of one defect, I wonder how many others live in the same state?

I have been using this app for years. Use for work on a weekly basis. The last update seem to have created an issue. I can no longer edit a formula because the top header bar cover the equations. This also stops me from creating new calculators.
Please update correcting this issue. 
Using 1st gen iPad mini.
I would easily give this app 5 stars if I could edit and create calculators again.
Please fix and thank you!

レビューが少なくて驚いてます。
・電子レンジのワット変換
・ビール券で購入本数変換
・男女利率可変の割り勘計算
などなど、計算する雛形を作るアプリです。
私にとって頻繁に使うアプリじゃないですが、普段の生活に大変役立っています。

I’ve been looking for something like this for ages. I’m doing various formulas regarding electric vehicles and this works perfectly. One thing I would love to see would be more settings such as larger font, different background colours, different types of font haptic feedback, cloud backup just to back up complicated calculations, to name just a few that, that would make this app absolutely perfect. It’s also a shame that you can’t use the result of one calculation in another calculation. For example, I made a calculation to determine cost per mile of our diesel car and a separate calculation to determine cost per mile of our EV Car, it would be great to divide one by the other to see how many times more I’m saving on electricity rather than diesel. Also there is no provision to have a result like 2.5 hours to be shown as 2hrs 30mins. It’s all decimal. And another glitch I’ve just noticed, when I create inputs and have “min” set to 950 and “max” to 1050, the slider shows a min of 396 (random !) and max of 1050 (as expected). I’m probably being way too picky because the app is brilliant, but if these features were able to be incorporated then this app would be just fantastic.

I use this app almost every day to weigh ingredients rather than measuring volume.  I’ve added a ton of custom calculations for specific ingredients, and for substitutions (like powdered buttermilk instead of fresh, and for a flour and cornstarch substitute for cake flour). 

It’s incredibly easy to use, very accurate, and has been well-supported over years of OS updates and phones. Couldn’t ask for more.

I love this app! This is the first app that I have ever reviewed and I’ve been using the iPhone since it came out. I do not have excel experience but the tutorial helped me to build my calculator in minutes. I needed to calculate amazon sales related things. Love it!!!!

Genau nach so einer App habe ich lange gesucht. Sie ist täglich im Einsatz. Man kann Formeln mit Variablen erstellen. Die Eingabe der Variablen ist dabei sehr komfortabel. Die Namen der Variablen sind frei wählbar und die Benutzeroberfläche ist super. Der Support ist zudem Spitzenmäßig. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Extremely useful app. Way underrated actually....
I cannot understand, why so few people use it. Great for repetitive calculations. And by using sliders......even better for getting an overview on parameter changes. Try it, use it, you'll not regret it. Highly recommended.

Every time there’s an IOS update, I have a few apps that have been abandoned by developers and won’t work with the new OS. 

Most I wouldn’t care about or could easily replace — but not GoCalc. I’m always relieved when it still works, because I use it nearly every day. Still awesome.

I started simple, adding cooking conversions I use a lot. Then I added a few design conversions. But it turned into a mission-critical app when I created a set of formulas for all my estimating and billing. I'm not good at math, but by using the built-in apps as examples, and a little trial and error, I got them all working. Saves HOURS on     these time-consuming tasks! Love being able to email the results to save with the paperwork. 

Would give it 5 stars if you had the option to clear all variables at once, and if you could duplicate an entire calculation to use as a base for a new one.
