Sometimes had to have orders cancelled after a long wait. They told us the driver wouldn’t accept our order but had accepted and collected another order since we placed ours. Shame you’re destroying other business reputations ### 1/5 — Not good service *2021-10-30, version 1.2.36* This is the second week running where I have ordered food, from 2 different restaurants, and asked for the food to be delivered at a set delivery time and it hasn’t been. The first last week was 2 hours late and this week it’s already half hour late and still not even been picked up. I emailed a complaint after last weeks delay and never heard anything either. The app shouldn’t give you the option to set a delivery time if it can’t fulfil this request. Once this order has been received I shall be deleting the App. ### 2/5 — The delivery drivers are always late which ruins the food. *2021-07-11, version 1.2.34* The delivery drivers are always late!! What is the point of booking a specific time if they won’t stick to it- it makes the restaurants look bad because they take so long to deliver they ruin the food. Currently waiting for my order and it’s 20 minutes late so far. ### 1/5 — They have one job… *2021-06-28, version 1.2.33* And they just can’t do it right. Avoid ordering with GoEats. They are terribly unreliable and the customer service is pathetic. ### 1/5 — If you’re hungry, make your own food *2021-06-28, version 1.2.33* We really wanted to give GoEats a chance, but it’s disappointed us on so many occasions. The first time we ordered, we had to pick up the food myself, as there was no sign of delivery after 30 minutes past the indicated time. Two or three times the delivery was just about okay, unclear when it would arrive or what stage of the process we were in, but it arrived in the end. Today was the final nail in the coffin. We preordered for delivery at 645 PM. By seven, tried to get in touch with goeats or the restaurant. 715, still nothing. I got on my bike and cycled to the restaurant - and found it was actually closed! Why would the app let me order from a restaurant and tell me my food would arrive by a certain time? Couldn’t make this kind of stuff up. ### 1/5 — Couldn’t even get started *2021-05-17, version 1.2.29* I couldn’t even get started by putting my address in. It wouldn’t accept my postcode and kept saying “enter valid address”, but there was no way of entering an address. Disappointing. ### 1/5 — Lousy *2021-03-27, version 1.2.24* Near impossible to enter an address. Can’t pay by PayPal or wallet. Can only add a card manually and then a red warning message of crap appears. Same thing online. Pathetic! ### 1/5 — Long wait and cold food *2021-03-25, version 1.2.24* Have used twice now, food has taken 2 hours to arrive (at time of ordering it was estimated to be less than 45 mins) food has been cold once finally arrived. We’ve contacted the restaurant directly on both occasions and have been told it was because GoEats was late to collect. Dear Kevin, I am not sure why you have mentioned in your reply that I have used your service again as this is not true and therefore unsurprisingly I will not be giving a 5 star review - I really hope that this is a genuine mistake on your part and not a fraudulent attempt to make my 1 star review look something that it isn’t! ### 1/5 — Very poor *2020-12-28, version 1.2.13* Used twice but never works - do not use. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2020-11-12, version 1.2.10* Still doesnt find or save my address.this is the worst app ever!!!!. It’s not letting me click on the “please tick to confirm postcode” just keeps reloading, this then means I can’t continue to order food. ### 1/5 — Rubbish, Unusable & Awful Communication *2020-07-28, version 1.1.5* 28/7/20: After another update (which didn’t improve the address issue, despite what the developer said in his 10 July responses) and with the promise of another in the coming week (late July 20?) I’m not confident, sadly perhaps just abandon this and wait for Uber Eats. Although I’m no expert I’m sure this isn’t a google maps issue (as indicated in other comments) as google maps picks up our address accurately. So after 2 recent “address” updates this app is still unusable for most addresses. It’s now over two weeks and no reply to email. Even though it has recently been updated the address directory is absolutely awful. Only targets one or two addresses and does not include anything built in last few years. Maybe PayPal should be introduced!? Tried to register online instead but there’s no option for it.
