### 4/5 — Gamerreview

*2020-04-27, version 3.0*

Decent, escape game. Does have scroll down for inventory. However most frustrating is if you leave the game and try to start again later you do have to start at the beginning. So if your new, take notes or trust your memory.

### 4/5 — Lack of information

*2019-11-12, version 3.0*

Really like the game but there is no info to help direct what you need to solve each part of the puzzles. Ex: I solved the musical instrument cubby and nothing that I could see happened. No new info, no key or piece to help solve the escape.

### 4/5 — Hard game

*2019-10-08, version 3.0*

It’s very hard to figure out. It would have been better if there were sound too. It’s to quite and makes me anxious lol but some of the challenges are easy and some are to hard to figure out. The music don’t work on the instrument either. But it’s an ok game

### 4/5 — Yes and no

*2019-01-18, version 3.0*

I’m not very good at these games but I like a good challenge. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into your games! Keep up the great work and maybe you’ll be able to please everyone!

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2018-11-05, version 3.0*

Has it’s goods and bad’s. I don’t like how it has to be done in a sequence. I agree with darkness but can see where an iPad would help.
I am truly stumped and I know that I have more to figure out. I had a clue figured out before but when you close the app it goes back to the beginning and now I can’t figure out where I got the clue before. I do like it because it is a challenge.

### 4/5 — Good balance of hard and NO PIXEL HUNTING!!

*2018-07-07, version 3.0*

Many of the clues aren’t intuitive, so you just have to try every tool/clue with every hot spot. Once I figured that out, it became much easier. I loved that tapping in the general area takes you to to spot and that once you’d gotten the tool/solved the puzzle that spot became inactive. I’ll look for more of the developer’s games. Nice job!

### 4/5 — Nice game

*2018-06-02, version 3.0*

Yeh some of the game is way too dark. Also some things I had to do 3-4 times before it worked. Game doesn't save at any point. So, don't leave and try to just come back where you left off. Fix those things and would have a much better game.

### 4/5 — More interesting than others

*2017-08-20, version 3.0*

I liked this game because it was better than a lot of escapes but it would have been nice to be able to save.

### 4/5 — The good and the bad, imo

*2017-07-22, version 3.0*

The good: different if you like and have played all the escape games. I like how many puzzles there are in each level - makes it more challenging to see where things fit together. Some of the puzzles are complex - not for kiddos!

The bad: would be nice if your progress was saved since the levels are so long. Basic graphics. Couldn't see how to scroll to get to all my inventory at first (there's a bar on the left side.) Too many pop ups to review their game - hence this review.

### 5/5 — Great grame

*2017-04-18, version 3.0*

It's harder than other ones which makes me happy bc I actually have to think but also at points makes me mad!

### 3/5 — So far so good

*2017-04-01, version 3.0*

I got far then went to bed. And it didn't save my progress so had to start all over. I can't stand it. I breezed through though to get back to where I was and now I'm stuck and have to stop. So there goes my progress. Wait till you have time to sit and do the whole thing! I can't figure out the window puzzle with the hearts and diamonds etc. so have to write a review to get a walk through. Otherwise good game.

### 5/5 — Well

*2017-03-30, version 3.0*

This was one of the more difficult rooms that I have tried out. It seems that some of the instructions I am hundred percent clear but I still
appreciate a good challenge versus something too easy

### 4/5 — Problem with vases order on iPad

*2017-03-14, version 3.0*

I really like this game but I could not get past putting the vases in correct order even after watching the walk through many times. I am on an iPad (someone else mentioned this)
I also agree with the darkness of parts of this being a problem. I would consider getting other of your games but not if I would have the same kind of problem with parts of the game.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — If I could give it zero...

*2019-11-03, version 3.0*

So this actually seems like it *could* be a decent game...
Graphics are meh, the lack of sound is disorienting, and it’s kind of a guessing game as to what half the inventory items are (labels might help, guys). But it’s challenging, and I wanted to pursue it.
However! Any time I tap anything outside of the game screen- I mean ANYTHING - I get an ad. Or a redirect to their newest (NOT free) release download page.
So don’t tap outside the game screen, u say. Well, the layout is a bit user unfriendly, and at first I was seeking a settings icon. The next time I was trying to access my inventory. Once I meant to pause the game. Yet another time, an invitation popped up to their newest game *just*as I was clicking on something else. So I was redirected.
No big. Just go back to the game, u say. Well, I’d love to. But if u redirect in just about any way - I mean ANY way- your progress is not saved. You get to start allll ooooover agaaaaain.
Sorry. Even for a free game, our time is worth more than this. They should pay YOU to play this.

### 1/5 — If You Can't Get To Your Inventory You Can't Use Your Inventory

*2017-02-22, version 3.0*

There are so many reasons not to like this game. The graphics look like they were drawn by a child. The scenes are far too dark. I am unable to scroll up or down to get to my inventory. I have solved the puzzles and see where I need inventory items to complete those puzzles. Too bad! I cannot get to my inventory when only three of the many items are visible and accessible. And then there are the constant interruptions: to rate their game, to share your game with a friend or to choose to return to the Apple Store to install another one of their games. It's annoying to be required to rate the game simply to get the walk-through. And the most aggravating, when it asks me if I want to return to the Apple Store to install another one of their games, I always click "No." Yet, despite clicking "No," it takes me back to the Apple Store and opens that game title anyway. It doesn't matter if you click "Yes" or "No" you are going back to the Apple Store and good luck if your game gets saved. It's a toss-up on that one. Obviously, I do not recommend this game.

### 1/5 — Doesn't save progress

*2017-01-22, version 3.0*

I played for a bit and then had to close down the app. I went back an hour later and all of my work from before was gone. It was a terrible game to begin with, since you are basically pixel hunting and trying every object with every puzzle, hoping it works somehow. I am not doing this all over again.

### 2/5 — Terrible!

*2018-07-28, version 3.0*

Having done a lot of escape games before this I can say honestly that this was one of my least favorite. I don't mind a challenging puzzle whatsoever but half of these made zero sense at all. No clear connection between clues and results for a number of them and parts just made zero sense at all. Save yourself the time and skip this one.

### 2/5 — Have to start over, every singe time

*2017-05-31, version 3.0*

Great game. Super fun and challenging until you decide to go to bed and have to START ALL OVER the next morning. Doesn't save progress or inventory or game play. I'm not going to do all the puzzles again, it's a waste of time and now you can't progress in the game unless you want to devote hours of consecutive game play.

### 2/5 — Um....

*2017-02-18, version 3.0*

Well, there is no story at all. I have collected five little items but I have no reason to really want to continue. I wish that there was some kind of motivation given to the player for moving on to other areas. I haven't given up yet. We'll see if the walk through provided since I am rating this right now helps me enjoy things a little more.

### 2/5 — Frustrating but fun

*2016-11-19, version 3.0*

I agree with the issue of darkness and no logical connection between clues. I had to watch the walk through because I got all the way to the end and my final puzzle would not work. I was doing it right but had to abandon the game because I never received the final coin to solve the last clue.

### 3/5 — It was ok

*2023-12-26*

The game really challenges you so that’s why I like the game. Other than that the game is to dark and made it extra hard. It’s so annoying that the game doesn’t save. It also had horrible pictures to make the room. It keeps asking to rate it and it’s so annoying. This game is sos frustrating. I don’t recommend getting this game unless your really bored or it’s raining outside and there is nothing to do.

### 3/5 — Annoying feature

*2018-01-19, version 3.0*

The game plays well (FYI, there is a small scroll bar to scroll through your inventory) but if you leave halfway through a chapter? Hope you took good notes or have a very good memory because when you come back the next day you will have to start that chapter from the beginning. We know it is possible to write games that save the players’ progress, even in the middle of a chapter, so if real life interferes with your game play a lot you will find this frustrating.

### 3/5 — Little Annoyances

*2017-05-05, version 3.0*

So far I like the challenges but it's too dark and the issue of not saving when you exit is super frustrating. I hate being held hostage by having to write a review to get a walk through. I find it isn't super sensitive to my tapping the screen (playing on iPhone). Sometimes when I tap it will enter the subscreen, sometimes I have to sit there tapping repeatedly. With some refinement this could be great.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Escape

*2019-08-09, version 3.0*

This game is full of hidden treasures all you have to do is find it a put it where it needs to be i cant stop playing

### 5/5 — GREAT ESCAPE GAME! & it's free!

*2018-04-01, version 3.0*

I really loved this game! Some of the clues stumped me and I stumbled around tap-tapping through the rooms, but was able to escape without too much frustration. I played on my iPad and had no problems, aside from needing to crank up the brightness. The inventory was not problematic for me & I had no issues with ads.

This is one of the better Escape Games I have played, free or paid. Thank-you so much to the creators of this great game!

### 5/5 — Challenging

*2017-09-23, version 3.0*

Have played a number of other escape games. This was my favorite to date. Challenging puzzles that made me think. Only complaint is that some areas were too dark - missed some clues until I played in a dark room with my screen set on the brightest setting.

### 5/5 — Awesome game

*2017-08-21, version 3.0*

This game is an absolute blast and definitely keeps me distracted from whatever it is that I'm trying to avoid while playing! Thank you for the game!

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-07-28, version 3.0*

I am using an iPad and I had no problems with the clues working. I had trouble a few times making a relevant connection between the hint and execution. For instance, I needed help figuring out that the up and down switch positions were related to the button order on the side of the boiler(?). Other than the couple of times I couldn't make a connection, I loved it. It is more involved than the others. It would be nice to save your place as the game is lengthy.

### 5/5 — I escaped, but not without some frustrations!

*2017-07-26, version 3.0*

It was hard to tell what objects I'd picked up. It certainly would've helped if there were object names.

I didn't mind the ominous darkness as I thought it fit with the attic look and feel. The puzzles were challenging and required some deep observation and thinking so that was awesome!

Great work and thanks for sharing!

### 5/5 — Definitely a challenge

*2017-07-25, version 3.0*

A bit dark though

### 5/5 — Escape

*2017-07-16, version 3.0*

I love these games - I agree a little dark and hard to play on my iPhone - but this one is super challenging and I like the challenge ! I also agree it's frustrating to not have a save option

### 5/5 — Very difficult=i like

*2017-06-10, version 3.0*

Some of these types of games are way to easy but this ones pretty hard. Like it a lot

### 5/5 — Better than many escape games

*2017-05-08, version 3.0*

First, I'm not sure what's up with the description, as the game plays nothing like what is described. That said, it plays well. Without giving too much away, the clues are really spread out across several rooms, and require some clever thinking. There is still a certain amount of random clicking to find some objects, but this plays better than many clone escapes out there.
