New functionality was recently released and it gives much more information to families. It’s great that photos and videos can be shared through the app! ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2026-03-04* This app is a nightmare. Every time I try to log in, it says I have the wrong password (I don’t) and then when I go to change the password it allows that action but then still won’t let me log in and instead says “you no longer have access please contact your loved ones facility if you think this is an error”. I have contacted the facility and they have set up multiple accounts for me (which is also annoying that has to happen) but each time I try go log in, I can on the first time but then all subsequent log ins fail and it’s the same cycle over again. ### 2/5 — needs to support multiple family members *2025-11-17* I wish you could add multiple family members in the app to keep track of both parents activities ### 1/5 — Can’t even log in *2025-07-15* I downloaded the app and put in the email from the invitation I was sent from my dad’s residence and it won’t even connect. ### 1/5 — Cannot register *2024-06-02* Use the registration button in app after downloading, provided the email address that the invitation was sent to. The NEXT button is unresponsive because the native keypad pushes the button up mid-screen. The NEXT button is responsive if I touch it before putting the cursor in the email field, but won’t work after I input data. The native keyboard “Done” also does not work. iPhone 15 17.4.1 ### 3/5 — Notifications *2022-01-02* I’m no longer receiving notifications, I get an email for messages. But no app notification. I used to get notifications on announcements but not any longer. Keeps asking me if I want to use Face ID every time I open the app, even though I clicked the yes. When I try to change from my mom to my dad, the app closes. It seems to randomly close on me other times as well. There was an update that added “Documents”, but I cannot find that on the app. ### 3/5 — Mostly accessible with VoiceOver *2021-11-25* The "walk-through" portion of the app is not accessible. Under "welcome to CareMerge family engagement," the screen reads swipe through to learn more about how to use the app." At the bottom of the screen is a page picker. There is nothing on any of the five pages for voiceover to read. In order to exit the screen, I had to close the app in the app switcher, then reopen it and login again. When I double–tap the resident apartment number, the elements at the top of the screen appear to be properly labeled. However, at the bottom of the screen are five tabs which are not individually labeled. Voiceover just says "tab, tab, tab, tab, tab. The user experience would be better if these tabs had appropriate labels. ### 3/5 — Issue with picture in messages *2020-10-27* I enjoy being able get get pictures of my loved one in messages from the staff, but most often, in the message, the picture cycles through the many previous pictures that were sent, not always the current one. Sometimes it stops on the current one, sometimes it stops on an old one. This happens each time the message is accessed. Needs fixing. Better to just log in to website. ### 5/5 — Excellent—much improved *2019-10-26* This app is crucial in monitoring my memory challenges 90 year old mom’s care. I live close by her and visit often, but this app helps me know what she is participating in and gives me an overview of her day. I’d be lost without it. The transition to iOS 13 was bumpy and this app had many bugs. The version released today squashed them, so I can now rate the app highly. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. We have fixed the user interface issues in the latest version. Please update your app to have better user experience.
