What's New in Go Lab

2.0.8

October 30, 2026

[New Features] - Added the 'Human Style' model (HumanSL) with model downloads An AI model trained on human game records. Play against opponents close to your rank from 20 kyu to 9 dan, and switch between modern and classic (pre-AlphaGo) playing styles. The app and AI models are now separate; download the 'High-Precision' or 'Human Style' model from Settings. You can choose different models for play and analysis—use a lightweight model for games and a high-precision model for analysis. - Added Zen Mode A mode that quietly fades out everything except the board so you can focus on the game. Toggle it with the 'Zen' button at the top right of the board. A gentle stone-drop animation and subtle haptics on landing make for a more immersive experience. - Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) support The entire app is now available in the Traditional Chinese used in Taiwan. Go terminology has also been localized to Taiwanese conventions. [Improvements] - Design refinements • Unified button and card design for better visibility and usability • Improved the last-move marker (white outline for black stones, black outline for white stones) • Adjusted stone rendering (shadows and highlights) for a more three-dimensional, realistic look • Fixed win-rate layout (percentage and decimals) to prevent number jitter • Improved the thinking indicator in light mode for better visibility • Adjusted the position of the thinking/analyzing badge • Widened replay bar button spacing for easier tapping - Game tempo adjustment Added a pause before CPU moves so the stone-drop animation is clearly visible. Minimum intervals are 1 second in normal play and 3 seconds in Zen Mode. [Bug Fixes] - Fixed an issue where the analyzing badge could remain visible - Fixed an issue where a previous game's analysis state carried over to a new game

Response from developer

Response from developer

Waste of 4€, REFUND DEMANDED

Complete trash app, freezes constantly and bad layout/navigation flow, terrible vibe coded trash, has the gall to charge 4$ to buy it.
