But what’s the point of the app (being app controlled is why I bought these particular lights) and having multicolored led’s if it just reverts to red? If I wanted red, I would’ve just bought red.. I also noticed that 75% or more reviews are saying the exact same thing. You can also set it to a certain color but when you close out the app the color will change. I was about to give up, but when I looked at the actual led strip, it said to go to this app. I was so happy because it worked perfectly, or so I thought. Immediately when i turned off my phone, the color of the lights turned red. I tried many different things such as turning them off from the app before closing it, or deleting the tab that the app took up, but none of it worked. I will not ruin the app’s rating because everything else works perfectly fine and I know it’s just a bug, but hopefully this review helps to show the developer that this needs to be fixed. **If you don’t want to read that huge paragraph, here’s a quick summary** ‘This app has a bug where whenever you close it, no matter what you do, the led strip turns to the color red.’ Developer(s), please read this so that it can be fixed, and since most of the reviews for the app are about this issue, maybe the overall rating will improve! ### 3/5 — It’s alright *2021-09-05, version 1.7* There are definitely better LED strips and apps out there. This is a solid, reliable choice when it comes to LED strips however, even if the pamphlet tells me I can sync it to my alarm through my non-existent settings. The music choice is limited to just Apple Music, which I do not enjoy to say the least. I wish it would work with SoundCloud so I can listen to all the “music” I have saved or YouTube so I can listen to all the music I want. The app is straight garbage but the strips themselves are pretty good. 7/10 strips 4/10 app ### 3/5 — Expected more :/ *2020-05-25, version 1.6* It does work but I thought that there was going to be more to it. For example the music option is only for Apple Music sadly. It does work with podcast though but the lights do get a little wacky.
