## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.6 — 2026-08-22

Updates
• Tap any player in a finished match to see everything they did in it — minutes, rating, shots, passes, duels and more. Swipe sideways to move through the rest of the squad without closing anything.
• Goalkeepers get their own set: saves, goals conceded and penalties saved.
• A "Highlights" line calls out where a player led the match — most shots,
  most chances created, most saves.
• The Appearance setting that controls the match page background now applies
to the team, competition and player pages as well.
• Share a player's match stats as an image. Open any player from the lineups and tap the share button — the card carries their photo, rating, club, and key stats.
• The rating no longer repeats inside the stats list; it lives on the badge over the photo.
• Smaller club crest on the player's photo, so it sits on the white disc instead of filling it.

Fixes
• Tapping a player's photo or name now dims them instead of drawing a box behind them.
• The club colour, the surface and the tab bar now line up across every page in both appearance variants.
• Assorted alignment and contrast corrections throughout.

### 2.0.5 — 2026-08-18

Updates
• The Appearance setting for the match page background now applies to the
team, competition and player pages as well. It has been renamed
  "Page background".
• New "Player of the match" card in the Overview of a finished match.
• Match and lineup images you share now carry the full Go-lo logo.
• Live scores and match clocks refresh twice as fast.
• The TV channel now only appears where we have listings for it.
• Clearer wording throughout the notifications.

Fixes
• The header no longer jumps when you open a live or finished match.
• Reopening the app no longer shows a loading overlay when there is
nothing new to fetch, and never waits longer than 10 seconds.
• Alignment and contrast corrections across cards, tags and tabs.

### 2.0.4 — 2026-08-17

Updates
• Nine app icons to choose from — light, dark, off-white, blue, green, red, yellow and stadium in light or dark. Pick yours in Settings → Appearance, or during setup.
• The app now refreshes when you come back to it, with a clear loading indicator so you always know when data is being updated.
• Following a player now tells you about their assists, not just their goals.
• Full time for a player you follow no longer depends on keeping the match in your watchlist.
• The highlight card on player and team pages now follows the score live while the match is being played.
• Goalkeeper careers show saves and goals conceded, instead of two columns of zeros.
• Fixtures lost the "pinned" filter, and Live no longer has a filter button.
• Lineup share images now lead with the crest and the squad name.

Fixes
• Removed two faint horizontal lines that crossed the match header, under the top buttons and under the tabs.
• The background gradient on the match page no longer shows banding between the header, the tabs and the page.
• A match that was only in your list because you follow one of its players no longer appears as if you had added it yourself, with half its notifications switched on.
• Assists and goals were sometimes credited to the wrong player when the data arrived a few seconds late.
• Player alerts could arrive twice, or for matches that had finished days earlier.
• Substitution alerts said a player was coming on when they were going off.
• Goals and red cards now reach the players' followers even when it takes several minutes for the scorer to be confirmed.
• Removing a team you follow no longer leaves its matches stuck in your watchlist.
• Match notifications show club crests again.
• Video highlights are back.
• The momentum chart appeared long after the data was ready.
• The match clock is now aligned with the score.

### 2.0.3 — 2026-08-14

Updates
• Lineup builder — pick from fourteen formations, fill the XI, drag players between positions, filter by club, and share it as an image. Choose a club and the pitch fills itself with their latest XI, in the formation their manager used; anyone who has since left is replaced by a squad player in the same position
• Match momentum — a new chart on every match page showing which team is pushing, minute by minute, with goals and red cards marked where they happened
• Follow players — add any player to Following and get notified when they're in the starting XI, on the bench, score, put one in their own net, miss a penalty, assist, get booked or sent off, come on or off, and at full time
• Clubs, competitions and players you follow now sit in one place, under Following in Settings
• Live Activities now start on their own — your followed matches appear on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island 15 minutes before kick-off, with a live countdown, even if the app is closed
• Share any match as an image — before kick-off, live, or after the final whistle — with the match link attached. Before kick-off it shows the kick-off time, both sides' recent form and their head-to-head record; during and after, the momentum chart and the stats
• Redesigned line-up images, for both real line-ups and your own builds
• Sharing your own line-up now carries a link, so people can build theirs
• Player suggestions and search in onboarding, and in "Add more"
• Player notification defaults in Settings › Default notifications
• A new menu on Fixtures, Live and Watchlist, with quick access to the lineup builder, preferences and appearance
• Settings, Appearance and the Lineup builder now open as full pages
• Tap your photo in the menu to change it
• Your team's matchdays are now marked in the date strip on Fixtures, and you can swipe between days
• The competition filter now only lists competitions that are actually being played, so you never land on an empty screen
• Search covers every competition we track, in your own language, with the one you meant first
• Match pages open in a calmer look by default, with more of the teams' colours behind the score
• Link previews redesigned, so a match you send to a friend looks like the rest of the app
• Match highlights are looked for from 2 hours after full time
• New notification sounds for red cards, match previews and line-ups; the whistle now also plays at half-time and at the restart
• Player notifications show the player's photo
• Live Activity events are now shown in your app language
• Rate the app from Settings
• Three app icons to choose from in Settings › Appearance

Fixes
• A player's club now always shows their current club, never a national team or the last club they played for
• Player profiles from clubs whose season hasn't started yet opened as an error instead of showing the player
• The Dynamic Island no longer cuts off the score, and club crests always load
• Club crests were missing from the Facts card before kick-off
• Player photos were missing from line-up images
• After a match, the highlights video and the summary now sit at the top, above the momentum chart
• Opening Privacy policy or Terms from the menu could leave the app unresponsive
• Header buttons are now the same size on every page
• The Stats tab no longer shows up on matches that never report statistics
• The Lineups tab no longer shows up on matches that have no line-ups
• Line-ups now use the same layout for both teams when one of them has no formation
• Changing days on Fixtures shows a loading state instead of briefly saying there are no matches
• The FT / HT / ET / PEN dividers in Key events no longer show up only after switching tabs
• Stats bars keep the true club colours in the System match theme
• The glass material on menus and popovers now renders correctly
• The two-week competition view now matches the dates it says it covers
• Push notifications were briefly not being delivered — fixed

### 2.0.1 — 2026-08-01

• Share the starting XI as an image — pick a team from the share menu and send it anywhere
• Redesigned the match share card for links you send to friends
• New notification sounds for goals, kick-off and full time
• Refreshed menu icons across share, fixtures, live and watchlist
• Fixed a crash when opening a match on some devices
