I have absolutely no issues with it. I only have suggestions for features: Firstly, I think there needs to be a basket feature added to the “mobile tickets” section of the app, so that when buying multiple tickets at once, I don’t have to purchase each ticket individually. This is as when purchasing bus tickets, I like to stock up on them when I get paid. For example, I may buy 5 TNE day tickets at the start of a week and use them over the course of the week in order to prevent me running out of money for bus fair, as I already have the tickets purchased. Secondly, when buying tickets, as I like to buy in bulk, It would be great to see a feature where you get, For example 10 single tickets for the price of 9, therefore getting one free. Or the ability to purchase 10 day tickets at once and pay for 9, therefore getting one free. I know there are already bundles able to purchase, however an incentive like this would encourage more people to use the GNE app, and encourage more people to buy bus tickets, and deals with, for example, 10 payments in one rather than Go North East having to process 10 individual transactions. Lastly, It would also be great in Metro stations were integrated on the interactive map to avoid swapping from the GNE app to the POP app when checking live times of the metro at specific stops. For example, when arriving at Gateshead interchange and swapping from a bus to a metro, or checking if the bus or metro is going to be the fastest on the way home from town. ### 5/5 — Go north east *2024-10-26, version 76* Amazing app ### 5/5 — Bus tickets *2024-09-18, version 73* Try and make the bus ticket available with out using WiFi or mobile data ### 5/5 — I hate the buses *2024-09-12* Here’s why, so I got the bus to school on my own for the first time. You know where the bank is that heads towards mendip? I pressed the bell to get off at that stop right? And he didn’t stop. So obviously I just thought he was taking me to the path where the schools is bc sometimes the bus drivers do that right. And he went past that. I was confused and started panicking. The bus took me into Chester le street and that’s when I started crying. It dropped me off a bus stand in Chester and I was stuck in Chester for 20 minutes. I was at the bus stand on the floor having a panic attack because I didn’t have any change left to get on another bus so obviously I was just stuck there. Until this group of hermitage girls saw me. They came up to me and they were really nice. One of the girls said “what’s wrong?” So I told them what was wrong. Then one of the girls said “I’ll give you a pound so you can get on the next bus that takes you up to Newker” you should’ve seewn my face tho. Literally I thought they were gonna be mean but they gave me spare change to get on the bus. The driver who didn’t drop me off should get fired. I’m only in year 6, I’m only 10 and this could’ve been dangerous for me if I got kidnapped while in Chester or worse. one star review. Inspectors were helpful and accommodating but this just shouldn’t happen ### 1/5 — Do not take this bus *2025-09-24* I Just got out of school and I don’t have any other transport to get to my house and my school other than the bus I take the X20 to Langley Park this afternoon I had to run to the bus stop as fast as I can by the time I go to the bus the bus driver looked at me rolled his eyes,shut the doors and drove off I tried to run after it as to day at school I got bullied,shouted at by all my teachers and didn’t get to eat lunch, and all I wanted to do was go home,take a shower, and have a nice rest of my afternoon. So I waited for the other bus and t that one to drove past me, and finally at the third bus I got on but the bus driver gave me a DEATH GLARE and sighed heavily and the whole bus smelled like vapes and cigarettes hopefully someone sees this and reads it so they know not to take this bus. Nope. Buses scheduled to come on the timetables just don’t turn up. App doesn’t update to say they’ve cancelled or have any info or they will just disappear from tracking. That when they are even being tracked. One moment it’s telling you the bus is 20 minutes so you have enough time, then it will suddenly change to sooner and then later again. Like now I’m sat waiting for the 08:50 24 service from South Shields to Sunderland. Tracked it to the South Shields interchange and has just vanished off the map! No cancelled sign or anything just gone. So I guess I’m going to be late for the eye infirmary.
