I deleted this app not very good at all. ### 4/5 — Needs a comment feature *2024-04-14* I just downloaded this and started playing around with it and it’s great! I think the easiest and biggest improvement however would be to allow commenting on specific sites. People could leave tips and tricks, directions, as well as maybe ratings. Although allowing ratings could be its own thing too. There should also be a spot for people to record cost of entrance, permits required, parking, or various passes associated with parks. A comment section would solve a lot of this without having to add a half dozen other features. Thank you! ### 4/5 — Great for finding launch points-needs a trip map *2024-01-11* I am using this app to find & plan places to SUP. I’ve added favorite places to my My Trip and cool that I can reorder the sites however…since I’m unfamiliar with the locations it’s difficult to know where each one is in relation to another. In other words the Trip feature needs to be able to produce an editable map so I can see where they are and reorganize in the proper order without clicking back into each site to find its location. Right now I have to plot each one on Google maps to get a route. Other than that I love the descriptions & photos provided. ### 3/5 — Like that it shows launch sites *2023-09-04, version 4.4.3* I have been trying to find a good app that shows launch sites for kayaks and this is the best one so far, I just wish when I’m trying to plan and launch and take out trip that it would show me the miles from each point so I know how long it will take me. I can’t find an app that lets me plan a trip with an estimated time frame. ### 3/5 — Helpful App, but Ads *2023-08-30, version 4.4.3* Why is there no “pro” version without ads? There is an ad on every launch spot detail screen. The app hasn’t been updated in two years, so I guess they’ve abandoned it. What an utterly terrible app. The website is actually not bad but the mobile app is unusable. Not sure what the trip plans thing is all about. The interface is shocking. I also have a couple of suggestions: The favorites option is great. However, it would be helpful if there was also an option for saved places - places you want to check out. So there could be an easy way to save places you want to go to and a separate place in favorites for places you’ve gone to and liked. Ideas for improving our means of giving feedback on existing details: - if I’m rejecting a location as a duplicate of an early location, offer that as a selectable reason;Also, it was awkward trying to describe the nearby duplicate, and I assume that this app only reports the current location I am giving feedback about, not any nearby locations… - offer rating of helpfulness or quality of other people’s comments, and then bubble up the best of the comments - if someone rates a comment or description as weak or not helpful, trigger review (which could auto-notify the OP to go improve their review... if you enabled edit of things we post) - offer “out of date” review reason for feedback on a comment or photo; eg I saw a photo of a metal staircase from a few years ago, but none exists on that due bank now; I saw a comment about using said staircase, and that comment should be edited or removed, or enable us to downvote -Photos: enable voting on the relevance of a photo for the location; good photos would convey issues about I put in or key visual characteristics of the paddling experience; less relevant would be seeing someone with their dog in the kayak --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
