Using on iPhone 11 and iOS 14.4.1. When ever I record anything and try to listen to playback the app crashes (ie no sound). Contacted support and all they said was try reinstalling the app - like doh! as if I hadn’t done this already!Bought the TC helicon go twin specifically to use with this - bit of a waste of time and money really. It’d be nice if others here mentioned what device they have, to get a better idea of whether the issues are related to the phones we use in conjunction with the app, or if the issues are app-born, so to speak. The concept for this app is amazing, but none of the several videos I recorded (within the span of about 4 hours) were successfully exported. Huge disappointment and waste of time. I tried attaching them to emails as well as saving them on my phone’s Photos app. Even turned off and powered on my phone to see if that would help. No luck. Also sometimes when I’m done recording and I go to replay, the video will start as expected with the sound of the track, but when the vocals come in, then the whole video goes mute. I then have to close the app and make sure it’s not running in the background before I reopen it. Doing that every time you’re done recording, just to listen, is definitely a hiccup. Please fix these issues. Had I had a better experience with the trial version, I would have 100% bought the full version. I NEED something that allows me to record vocals with effect at the same time that I listen to a track and film myself, without latency. Sort of like Smule but controlling the effects and without the latency (which is a problem with Smule). If you could somehow add a lyrics prompter (Smule allows to upload tracks and type in and prompt lyrics, and save those), it would be amazing. ### 1/5 — Very GLITCHY *2020-12-17* Worked really good for 2 recordings, then unable to export. I determined the Video FX was causing a problem, and was able to export 3 more videos. Then I recorded 10 more videos in a 3 hour session. When I tried to playback my work within the app, there was no audio. 3 hours of work, rendered completely useless. Exported video and it still has no audio. FYI- I was using the Go Twin interface and completely unlocked app. So not to be confused with those other complaints of people using trial versions. Update 12/16/2020 Entered a ticket on music tribe 12/12. I can see that it has been reviewed twice since I entered it but still no response. I am hoping they can help me because the go twin hardware and go studio app really have some potential. ### 1/5 — As per usual *2020-10-10, version 1.0.1* Once again they release an app that is half developed. It doesn’t work on iPad with latest (14) version. Probably because there aren’t many folks using iPads for music making... ### 1/5 — Forget it *2020-08-09, version 1.0.1* Thought I might be able to use the effects in my DAW because Tc Helicon have not updated VoiceRack fx to work with iOS 12. As it constantly crashes...... But this is just for phone users. Forget all the iOS musicians who use iPads..... ### 2/5 — Won’t work *2021-05-17* It’ll record for me but as soon as I go to listen to it to mix it, the sounds just drops out and I can’t hear anything. It’s been like this for a few months. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t auto rotate *2025-01-29* I just downloaded it and have yet to use it, but right off the bat this is really a nuisance since I sit my iPad in the Magic Keyboard, but the app doesn’t flip to wide screen even though mostly all of my other apps do. I’m sure this would be a simple feature to add. Giving 3 stars for now. ## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — I love this app now, how great it sounds! *2021-01-15, version 1.2* I just bought and unlocked all the effects with app purchase. This last update is great and I know the app still in very early development but it’s perfect for me and you will love it if you like to record your performances. In past I had an issue with in app purchase but the developers fixed the problem. Also the response of Report a problem was quick. I love tc helicon products, they also have many vocal processors products. There a bunch of videos in YouTube. Check it. Thanks me later. ### 3/5 — Just began using, mostly very good. *2022-11-30* This app is really cool. I’m using one of the tc helicon go twins I got just a couple days ago. But it seems to be having problems. I’m not sure if it’s the app or device but it will just disconnect after a while. A lot of the videos won’t load at all or export. That seems like a pretty basic function of the app so that’s not great.
