Personally I’ll stick to just calling a taxi until the island gets UBER! ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2024-05-25, version 1.2.35* The worst service and app for cabs - don’t use it ### 1/5 — Terrible service *2024-05-10, version 1.2.35* Never any drivers available and barely functional app, so be prepared to be either stuck in one place (e.g hotel) or be stuck after one trip with no other way of getting home other than a 2 hour walk in the heat. Ridiculous service and app doesn’t work properly. Not to sound entitled but it was a complete waste of time and ruined our entire holiday. Surely the estimated prices shouldn’t be out by £50. That’s not reasonable. No further details were provided for us to contact a driver etc, and at the time of the booking the app froze and no taxi arrived. There were no taxis nearby so we had to talk 2 miles at midnight on a country lane in the rain. Received a notification 3 DAYS later saying the booking had been cancelled. Don’t bother. ### 1/5 — Awful Don’t Bother *2023-06-19, version 1.2.35* Don’t bother absolutely awful booked a taxi admitting it was over the festival but said he would be there and just messaged sos about 20 minutes late when I asked if they were coming. Lots of other taxis there already pre booked so they managed it and one driver just laughed and said you will be lucky if they turn up. Had 2 upset children and desperate to get back home. The bus company put on a extra bus as so many people but went out of there way to get us back even as wasn’t part of route as it was late thanks bus company awful taxi Kev (the Boss apparently)you should be ashamed Don’t bother with these people use another company Awful Awful ### 1/5 — Cancelled pickup 20 mins before due to arrive *2023-06-19, version 1.2.35* Previously accepted booking cancelled 20 minutes before pickup. No reason and no ability to rebook. Find alternatives. ### 2/5 — App functionality broken *2023-06-18, version 1.2.35* This is simply a terrible app. The map and GPS features doesn’t work and isn’t at all accurate, making it essentially impossible to use. The drivers that you get connected to are very good though. ### 1/5 — Completely useless *2023-05-01, version 1.2.35* Booked 11am for pickup 18:30. No confirmation of the pickup given all day long until 40 mins before pickup due when the app when off the air and my booking was cancelled. You simply can not rely on this poor service. On subsequent occasions I’ve had bookings accepted, and then cancelled with no explanation, meaning I’ve had to go back into the app and try again. It froze several times trying to log in with my phone number, when I could get in the app functionality was ridiculous! It allowed me to book a cab but the driver kept changing and would not tell me how long he would be. If you navigate away from the tracking page for any reason you can’t get back to it. Yesterday I was stranded waiting for a driver who never arrived! When I tried to call the company number it went straight to answerphone no matter which option I pressed! And to top it off they have charged my card l anyway for a trip I never took! Message that booking unavailable in this country. We were in Ryde IOW asking for a trip in Ryde IOW. Surprised because the app worked for us in 2023. ### 1/5 — Unacceptable-cancelled 5 mins before pick up had to take black cab for £120 *2024-08-29, version 1.2.35* The driver cancelled 5 mins before the scheduled pick up to take us from St Helens to Yarbour across the island. Even though we had reconfirmed with him an hour prior to the pickup. Ended up having to find a black cab last minute on a bank holiday that ended up costing us £120. Left a message with the company didn’t even get a call back. If you book and your driver is Sherman Cook avoid at all costs. I quote “sorry mate won’t make it, good luck” with 2 toddlers and luggage trying to catch a boat that’s totally Unacceptable ### 1/5 — This is scam! *2024-07-12, version 1.2.35* The original route was not followed so the distance miles were added more. Then we tried to talked to driver and he said “this is the best road for better viewing”. We felt that we scammed!!! £41.43 is too much! Unlike in alpha taxi we spent only £26 from newport to pearl factory ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2024-07-04, version 1.2.35* Before you can book a taxi you have to transfer money into the account. Which I did when trying to book. Taxi never turned up. I have tried to order taxis since and never available or never turn up. I emailed to try get my money back and they said they will sort it. Still have my money!
