It works fine on iOS so far as of this post on June 9 2026. However it's no longer working on older android devices. I will probably guess it doesn't work for android anymore in general since Pokemon go made changes to detect 3rd party accessories. :(

I love the convenience of playing with auto catchers.  Closest i get to playing a lot and can farm the data. Has gotten me many a shiny. 

The con of the devices is that they are garbage. One in five might work as advertised. And your waisting money trying to get one that works. I hate the new one as it is a down grade from the original. The pro is better connectivity at the cost of cheapness and the battery life. You are lucky if you can get one that lasts longer than 2 months. I started repairing my own to extend battery life and even swapped the battery for a better one. Thats compatible.  Niantic has nerfed all the fun in the game and this is the closest i get to playing a lot.  My job does not let me take community day off so this plays for me. Never missed one since.  

Filing an ftc complaint abt these things being garbage and your company refuses to allow consumers to enact the one yr warenty.

Recently I have struggled to connect the watch to go-tcha app but I think I found a trick to make it work. If connecting fails go to iPhone setting/bluetooth/Pokémon go plus/forget device. Once it is removed go into the go-techs app and click connect. Pair the device and the setting pop up. Hope this helps some people.

Does anyone know how to shut this thing up? This app certainly doesn't! Sure it has on/off button but neither that nor the vibrate work. 

Is there a way to apply or save settings before disconnecting?

As soon as I tried to connect it to the app it messed up my gotcha, it repeatedly tries to connect and it doesn’t stop!! Even when I deleted the app closed Pokémon go and turned off my Bluetooth it was still trying to connect to nothing. I then tried turning on my Bluetooth and connecting it and nothing happened, DO NOT USE THIS APP IT WAS MADE TO GLITCH YOUR GOTCHA!!! 😡

I deleted the app because I got frustrated with it, and when I tried to redownload it, it asked for by billing number thing, but it didn’t show that the first time. I don’t have a credit card either, and there is no where in the app to pay anything. So “Go-Tcha” I need answers please…

Watch will not update, and it constantly vibrates while showing the currently outdated firmware.  It also constantly disconnects and reconfigures settings on it own.  Go-tcha needs to figure out the issues and fix them.  Extremely frustrating after spending $60.
