## What is Go To Gym?

Turn every gym visit into measurable progress.

Go To Gym is a clean, fully offline workout tracker that helps you record what you trained, where, and how hard — then turns that into a clear picture of your muscle-building progress. No accounts, no cloud, no ads. Your data stays on your device.

Log in seconds

Pick a body part (or choose “Aerobic”) and get a smart list of recommended equipment — tap to check in.
Record sets, weight, reps, and duration for any exercise, then save with one tap.
Review, edit, or delete any past session anytime.
52 built-in machines, mapped correctly

42 strength + 10 cardio machines preloaded with the right body parts.
Compound moves are handled correctly — e.g. Kettlebell Swing trains glutes / legs / shoulders / arms, and the load is shared across all of them.
Add your own equipment: name, type, target muscles, muscle coefficient, and icon.
See real muscle growth

Each body part gets a Muscle-Building Score that grows with consistent training and gently fades when you take a break — just like real training stimulus.
Track training volume, score, and estimated calories per part and per session.
View Top 3 equipment and Top body parts at a glance.
Stay motivated (gamified)

Every muscle group levels up: Beginner → Growing → Solid → Advanced → Peak.
Get a green “Level Up” celebration when a part breaks through, and a gentle nudge if you haven’t checked in for 3+ days.
Smart advice, always current

After every check-in, the Stats page instantly refreshes with an “Latest” badge showing your most recent session.
Advice is based on BOTH your current results and your check-in history: it highlights the parts you just trained and tells you which weak spot to hit next for balanced gains.
Private by design

100% on-device storage. No login, no tracking, no internet required.
Full privacy manifest included; you can clear all data anytime.
Speaks your language

English / 简体中文 / 繁體中文, following your system language with instant on-the-fly switching.
Whether you’re starting your first routine or fine-tuning a split, Go To Gym keeps your training honest, visual, and yours alone. Download free and start logging today.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.0 — 2026-09-17

Check-in Calendar
See your training month at a glance. Trained days are stamped with the app icon; tap any day to replay that workout's equipment and numbers.

Favorites
Heart the machines you train most and reach them in one tap, auto-grouped into strength and cardio.

Calorie Trend
Tap the calories card for Week, Month or Quarter charts that follow your body and your training parameters.

Smarter Rankings
Top equipment now ranks by real training data, such as total sets, max weight and training minutes, with Day, Week, Month, Quarter and Year views.

Pace, Auto-Calculated
No more pace field. Pace is derived from distance and time, and faster sessions genuinely burn more calories.

Dance Workout, Rebalanced
Realistic calorie burn and a fairer muscle score for aerobic dance sessions.

Cleaner Muscle Chart
App icon badges replace stars to mark the muscles you trained in the last 24 hours, and every stats card can now be removed or re-added.

Still 100% offline, private and free.

### 2.8 — 2026-09-14

What's New in v2.8
A fairer muscle-building model — tuned to your body. Go To Gym now factors your sex, age and body weight into the muscle-building score, built on the widely accepted Volume-Load principle (sets × weight × reps). Your loads are normalized to a 70 kg reference athlete — so two lifters training with equal relative effort progress alike, regardless of size. Bodyweight moves like push-ups, pull-ups and core work automatically count your body as the real load. Age and sex expectations are applied as a fairness factor, so everyone progresses at a pace that reflects their own effort.

A richer profile, kept private on your device. The Settings page now lets you add your height and birth month/year (age is derived automatically). All profile fields are optional — skip them and the app applies safe neutral defaults, so the math always works.

Full equipment audit. All 52 default machines were reviewed one by one to confirm each one's formula and load type matches how it's actually trained.

Everything stays 100% offline — no account, no cloud, no tracking. Available in English, 简体中文 and 繁體中文, switchable anytime.

### 2.7 — 2026-09-11

News
- Cardio Time card — shows total cardio minutes for Today / Week / Month. Only appears when you did cardio.

Fixed
- Advice summary — now shows the real number (e.g. "coefficient: 12") instead of a word.
- No more crashes — duplicate data no longer crashes the app on launch or Stats.
- Week/Month counts— future-dated records are ignored.

### 2.6 — 2026-09-07

Train hard. Grow visibly. See the proof.

Go To Gym gives every muscle a fair, honest score built around your body — then shows you the curve. 52 machines know their real main and supporting muscles (no double-counting), bodyweight counts as real load, and every score is normalized to your weight, sex and age.

This version brings:

Tap any bar to trace growth — open a body part's day-by-day muscle-building curve with today's score, all-time peak and days tracked.
Live personalization — charts and muscle scores recompute instantly the moment you update your profile (weight, height, birth month/year, sex).
Body-part-aware logging in seconds — pick a part and a smart machine list appears; battle ropes, burpees and jump rope log reps × time.
Stats for Today, This Week or Everything — calories, volume, trends and rankings recalculate in one tap.
Level-up moments and gentle nudges — celebrate new stages; get a friendly reminder when a muscle has rested too long.
Swipe-down keyboard, auto-saved edits — no lost input.
Speaks your language live — English / 简体中文 / 繁體中文, switched on the fly, no restart.
Private by design — 100% offline, no account, no tracking; your data never leaves your device.
Expanded version (if you prefer a longer release-note style):

Honest muscle math Your score is normalized to your body: body weight, sex and age shape the math, so lifters of very different sizes progress fairly. Bodyweight moves count your own weight as the real load, strength follows Volume-Load × relative intensity, and each of the 52 machines knows its main muscles (full credit) and its supporting muscles (fair credit) — nothing rounded up, nothing double-counted.

Muscles you can watch grow Every muscle group carries a Muscle-Building Score that rises with consistent training and fades gently when you rest. Tap any bar to open that muscle's day-by-day growth curve — today's score, all-time peak and days tracked. Update your profile and every chart recalculates instantly.

Logging built for speed and honesty Pick a body part, get a smart 52-machine list (42 strength + 10 cardio), fill in the numbers. Battle rope, burpees and jump rope log reps × time instead of fake distances. Review, edit or delete any past session.

A whole stats page that answers you Calories, volume, trends and rankings recompute for Today, This Week or All Time with one tap, plus Top 3 equipment, Top 3 body parts, and a celebration when you level up — and a gentle nudge when a body part has been resting too long.

Made for focus, made private Swipe down the keyboard and edits save the instant it closes. Switch between English / 简体中文 / 繁體中文 live, no restart. Everything — workouts, profile, your curves — lives only on your device. No account. No cloud. No ads. Clear all data anytime.

### 2.2 — 2026-09-03

Go To Gym — This Update

This update makes logging feel noticeably smoother. Swipe down anywhere to dismiss the keyboard — from your stats, your history, or even right over the keypad while entering your body weight — and every number you typed is saved the instant the keyboard closes, so nothing gets lost or needs retyping. The Stats page also gains a clean Today / This Week / All-time switcher at the top, letting you jump between the day's progress and the full picture with a single tap. And "clear all data" now gives you a truly fresh start, resetting your stats layout as well. Same 100% offline, no-account, no-ads privacy — just a faster, more comfortable way to stay honest with your training.
