It’s very easy to navigate the app, which houses everything you’ll need when working with them. I’m currently in grad school and this app has given me great opportunities to work different events to gain experience and get money—and schedule them when I’m free! The only downfall I’ve ran into using this app is that you do not get reimbursed for supplies used at the events. It’s a great way for us ATs to get steady income during the summer or in addition to part time high school work. Although it is new, it will take some time for the word to get out to get more jobs lined up. With COVID, I’ve seen a surge or more jobs lined up. This was a huge help to find my one PRN position while I’m in my DPT degree. Smaller towns don’t have has many opportunities, but living within 2-4 hrs from cities is a nice plus. Go4 is a great and easy way for athletic trainer all around the world to get jobs and help. It’s great having a platform that appreciate athletic trainer and push for us to be treated more like healthcare providers. It is incredibly easy to navigate and find work and apply. I also appreciate the link to the EAPs so I can look over before shift. The email reminders of upcoming shifts and emails to remind you to check in are really helpful too and the EMR on the app makes it nice to keep everything in one place! My only issue is sometimes I will get email notifications for shifts open near me, but sometimes they do not show up on the app. But overall I am very happy with Go4! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Logs me out *2025-04-30, version 2.0.162* The app is always logging me out it is so inconvenient and annoying so difficult to even search for a gig ### 1/5 — Job Posters are inconsistent *2025-01-29, version 2.0.158* Like a few other reviews here, you will be waitlisted a lot. I applied to a job recently and was immediately waitlisted . I unapplied and applied again thinking it was maybe a glitch but no. I was waitlisted and then the position was filled the next day. I have contacted customer service and they have been helpful in responding and assuring me that my account isn’t flagged etc . My belief is that the posters have people in mind they are going to hire and that’s it. It doesn’t matter if you applied weeks before you’ll be waitlisted the day before the event. Super frustrating . I managed one shift in a year . This is probably my biggest frustration. I’ve also had an issue where I accidentally clicked apply for a job, and had no way to unapply for it. The feature was also broken. This app needs a significant update at this point. Original review-Overall a great app for the ability to work per diem. The features need some polishing. Can’t currently choose a distance from me, it just defaults to max. Also would be nice to select a specific state, since almost all states require licensure in that state to practice. I’ve deleted and updated the app 2x. Click on EMR to create report and app closes. Since sending additional feedback doesn’t work I’ll just add to previous. This app need an add to calendar function. The program needs the ability to rate the employees or provide feedback on cancelled events. If there can be negative marks on workers dropping shifts there should be the same for organizers. ### 2/5 — Distance from you *2019-05-29, version 2.0.0* This filter option wont work in the app, i try and select an option but it always reverts to 150 miles. The event coordinator cancelled the day of the event. I had reserved my evening for them and at the last minute they cancelled. If I call out my review go down. But nothing for the event coordinator if they cancelled last minute. I believe it should be some trying of compensation $25 to reserve a professional and if they cancel 24- or less before the event we receive compensation. I say this because I could have picked up another event if it was the day before ### 5/5 — Great app for ATCs *2023-03-02, version 2.0.126* Very helpful with many of the personal time consuming task that athletic trainers need to deal with when taking on a side job. The go4 app helps with tax documentation. Since many job posters will often offer multiple shifts, there are opportunities to build professional relationships. ATCs can read the EAP before applying and see the estimated number of participants. I’ve had great communication with event posters and get paid within a timely manner, typically before the estimated timeframe. I’ve been able to work shifts on go4 to make extra income, they are easy to find and apply for. Ive also posted looking for coverage when my school needed which was also super easy. I like how they post the rates for each job. The new EMR is really helpful and Intuitive, being able to email the athlete the note for them to bring to another medical provider. One thing I would change is making it easier to add in credentials, that interface is glitchy at times.
