Used to work, now just crashes. Won’t connect. Disappointed.

This was one of the three apps recommended in the manual of my action cam (Apeman A80). It has trouble connecting to the camera and when it does,  it has trouble keeping it. It often reverts to its “connect to camera” opening screen. The apps looks like a work in progress, that’s how many bugs there are. For starters, the delete button tells you to select the picture you want to delete, but there is no option to select them. In the settings you are shown a menu for video, photo, etc for a split second, but then the app automatically directs itself to the video mode. It is not possible to select the photo mode. Uninstalled it after two days of disappointment.

I wanted to record a construction time lapse video. The photos shown in this app before you download the app does not reflect what is accurately featured when you use the app.
Now I have to return the Apeman A80 and get a different camera because it’s useless for what I need this camera to do. So if you want to do a time lapse over wifi do not get the Apeman A80 or this app. Plus I cannot find any other apps that have this feature. Customer Service for Apeman suggested FNCAM and OKCAM and they don’t have this feature.

Downloaded the app to connect to my action camera. When I open the app and press connect it shows it connecting then after like 4 seconds the whole app crashes and exits out of the app.

You can use to control your generic action cam. But when you download a video ( I don’t know why it’s happening now), it downloads part of the video in slow motion.
