Hockey Goalies-- iGoalie is a Hockey Stats Tracking app for Goalies, Coaches and Parents. I have updated iGoalie, and added a number of new features. These instructions should help you familiarize you with the new interface and new features. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me with any support questions. Recording a game As you will see the interface for recording a game looks very familiar, but along with the new graphics, there are some new features. Just like before, just tap the Save button to record a save, and the goal button to record a goal. iGoalie will then calculate your save percentage, and display it on the screen. If you hit the wrong button simply tap the correct minus button (- save, - goal). To reset a game simply press the reset button. One new feature you will notice right away is a switch at the bottom of the screen labeled “Live”, this switch prevents your iPhone from going to sleep while you are recording a game, simply tap the switch to toggle this feature on or off. When you are done recording a game, simply tap the “save game” button, this will present you with the save game, and social goalie. To add a goalie, simply enter their first and last name, as well as their team, and their jersey number, then click save. Instantly the new goalie will be added to the list of available goalies. To delete a goalie simply swipe across their name, the delete button will appear, and you can remove them from the list. Saving a game When saving a game, just enter the opponent, the time that the goalie was on the ice (60 min is the default time, but you can change it if you like), and the number of goals YOUR team scored (the opponents score is already entered. When you have filled in the information, press the return key to hide the keyboard. At this point, you have a few more options, you can Like iGoalie on Facebook, if you have a Twitter account, you can share your game stats on Twitter, you can email your game stats to any one, or you can save your game.When saving a game you are presented a list of Goalies that have been saved to your device simply tap on the goalie you would like to save the game to, or if you want you can tap the add button to ad a new goalie. Manage Goalies This is where you will go to add new goalies, delete goalies, or view the lifetime stats for a goalie. To add a goalie, simply enter their first and last name, as well as their team, and their jersey number, then click save. Instantly the new goalie will be added to the list of available goalies. To delete a Goalie, from the manage tab, swipe up with 2 fingers (on the card of the goalie you want to delete, and the goalie will be deleted). Lifetime stats Lifetime stats allows you to view a goalies lifetime stats, to access lifetime stats, simply tap on the goalies name from the manage goalies page. Lifetime stats includes : Save Percentage, Winning Percentage, Goals Against Average, Ice time (total amount of time on the ice), Wins, Losses, Shutouts, and ties. Game History Game History allows you to view individual games, and delete them. Couldn't figure it out. So I pulled up the app in the AppStore and it says how to delete a goalie ("swipe" over their name). Didn't work. Instead of trying to be flashy about the interface, how about adding intuitive features like an edit button. ### 5/5 — Awesome app *2014-11-29* I have been playing and coaching hockey most of my life. This tool is absolutely perfect.... Here is what I did. Currently there are 2 goalie on my roster, I set up a practice profile, and a game profile. I track each goalies game and practices separately, and can see who is having the stinger practice leading up to games. Then I can track the games. I have been doing this for a few months now, and it lets me see who is trending up as we get close to game time. It has definitely helped me go with the "hot hand" in my rotation.
