### 4/5 — Login Issues

*2026-05-30*

Great app, just a few hiccups getting started. I experienced login issues and the magic link wasn’t working. In addition we experienced issues with the invite link. It is tied to one email, but it says can used for 3 users, but we couldn’t use the code for my spouse.

I am also experiencing issues with the calendar button for apple, it isn’t doing anything when I click it.

I also click direct msg and it does nothing.

### 5/5 — Great for Player development

*2026-01-10*

Simple, easy to use, and essential for team communication. It keeps everyone organized and on the same page. Also, next level for player development and training communication.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.18.3 — 2026-08-24

• Calendar sync is much sturdier: external calendars can create events again, regeneration retries more safely, and arrival times stay attached when events move. Yes, calendars behaving like calendars is apparently a feature now.

• MatchMode period changes have extra guardrails, helping keep the clock and period from wandering out of sync.

• Parents should no longer be repeatedly asked for location access after already answering. Once was plenty. We have taken the hint.

Thanks for putting up with us. Now go coach.

### 1.18.0 — 2026-08-14

Two releases' worth of work in one. Match Mode got rebuilt, and Assist arrived to end the group text that begins "so who's bringing snacks?"

MATCH MODE, REBUILT

It's the thing you hold in one hand while coaching with the other, so it needed to stop making you think.

• The match clock now handles an actual match — kickoff, half time, full time, extra time, the extra time break, and penalties. Before this it handled "a game that ends when games normally end," which was optimistic of us.

• You can log more than goals. Shots on target, saves, corners, free kicks, yellows, reds, substitutions, penalties awarded — for either side. Tap the moment, it lands on the timeline. Tap it again to fix it, because you will need to, and that's fine.

• Penalty shootouts have a proper panel now, instead of being something you tracked on the back of a receipt.

• A live match card posts straight into team chat, and the score updates inside the chat bubble as the match happens. Parents stuck at work, grandparents three time zones out, the sibling at a different field — they tap "Follow the match" and they're in. No refreshing, no "?" texts.

• The public match page got the same redesign, so the link you share with family who aren't on GoalLine now looks like something you'd actually want to share.

INTRODUCING ASSIST

• Every event can now have a signup list. Canopy, water, snacks, main dish, paper goods, setup crew, cleanup crew — you ask for it, parents claim it. Two starter templates get you a full list in about four taps.

• Your schedule shows coverage at a glance. A small badge on each event tells you how much is claimed and how much is still stubbornly unclaimed, without opening a thing.

• Assist posts a card into team chat that stays live — the counts tick up as people claim.

• Parents get a notification when a list goes up, and a gentle nudge if they haven't grabbed anything yet. Nudges skip anyone who's already helped, because pestering the family who brought four cases of water is simply bad manners.

• Bringing something extra that isn't on the list? Add it as an extra. Need to mention the canopy has one broken leg? Leave a private note on your claim — only you and the coaching staff can see it.

Match cards and Assist cards both respect squads: a U14 event posts to U14 channels. The U11 parents were never asking.

Also in this one:

• Tapping a chat notification now shows you the new messages. It used to open the channel and then show you yesterday, which rather defeated the point of the notification.

• Fixed a bug where having Assist turned on could block you from sending an ordinary message in that channel. Apologies to everyone who assumed the team had simply gone quiet.

• Event type icons are now consistent across every schedule view. They quietly disagreed with each other before. They've since worked it out.

• Player names on the schedule no longer get clipped on smaller phones. ALL CAPS WITH GENEROUS LETTER SPACING was eating a third of the width while communicating nothing.

Thanks for putting up with us. Now go coach.

### 1.16.2 — 2026-08-03

• Field Scheduling! Orgs can manage venues, set availability & closures, and find open fields when creating events. Public schedule pages included.
• Custom game stats — define 10 of your own, track them, see them in a new analytics dashboard.
Public leaderboard redesign — shareable, branded, and a whole lot prettier.
We'll be over here making things look less terrible.
• Emails now send via a background worker (faster & more reliable).
• Various fixes we're weirdly proud of.

### 1.15.0 — 2026-07-14

We renamed "Enable Locker Room Chat" to "Player Accounts & Calendar Access" — because that toggle was doing a lot more than chat, and the old name was selling it short. Now it's clear: flip it on and your players can see their schedule, RSVP to games, and message the team.

We also gave coaches a way to see who's actually finished setting up their account, right on the roster — no more guessing which kid still needs a nudge. There's a running count too, so you know at a glance how many are set up.

And for players whose coach just turned this on: you'll get a friendly heads-up the next time you open the app, walking you through what's new. Not into it right now? Tap "Maybe Later" and we won't bug you again.

Thanks for putting up with us. Now go coach.

### 1.14.7 — 2026-07-10

Mostly back-end improvements and fixed for coaches and parents alike.

Fixed issues where not all events were displaying correctly for coaches and parents. It's hard to show up when the event doesn't exist...this was a bug so we squashed it.
