### 1/5 — Death and violence in a kids app? I’m appalled.

*2023-10-13*

WARNING: Parents PLEASE review what your children are watching and taking in before you set them in front of it. At first we were so pleased to find an app that could help our Autistic child. We were going through it together with her to see if it was something she’d like when we randomly came across a video in the “chill zone” in the speech section that was something about fruit alphabet friends. Seemed innocent enough, and if you as a parent just simply heard your child watching this there would be no problem. It sounds like a sweet song. The video on the other hand was SHOCKING. The whole video was about the fruit killing each letter of the alphabet. It depicted acts of shooting, stabbing, slicing, etc the letters. Each letter was hurt in a different way, and you saw them die or depict that they were suffering. This isn’t okay for any child to be watching, let alone neurodivergent children. What about the children who are on this app who can’t verbalize what they are watching? Honestly, this should be a crime and I consider it child abuse. I don’t even want to know what other hidden things are in this app. Please parents REVIEW WHAT YOUR CHILDREN ARE WATCHING. Don’t just sit your child in front of an app and trust it. Whoever made these videos does not have good intentions. Stay far away from this app and make sure you let others know to as well.

### 1/5 — Goally got a make over!

*2023-03-17*

DANG, last few updates brought the entire app to the next level. My kid loves it, so I love it.

### 1/5 — Great concept but not usable

*2022-11-07, version 2.0*

I loved this idea but there are so many bugs to be worked out. It got to the point that we could not use goally at all. I couldn’t launch anything, couldn’t add routines, it became useless. I’m not paying $19 a month for an app I can’t use.

### 1/5 — ABA app

*2021-07-03, version 1.0.4*

This app is not good for the well-being of children

### 2/5 — nice customer service but we struggled with app (for iphone)

*2022-10-12, version 1.0.12*

this is a great concept and we hoped it would work for us. we chose to try to app with the iphone instead of purchasing their device. we never were able to navigate the app smoothly and i spent too much time trying to get it to do what we had hoped it would do. we wanted to do more than simple, single tasks…. wanting to create daily routines, so maybe our needs were just too complex (?) - - maybe the app is still in the development phases and needs more work, because i believe it has potential, but we gave up and decided to discontinue it. for the monthly charge, and with our struggling so much with it, it was just not working out for us. we wish them well as they continue to get this app (for folks who chose to use the iphone and not buy the device too) to where it needs to be for quick, seamless, intuitive, successful.

### 5/5 — Goally got a make over!

*2022-12-11, version 2.0*

DANG, last few updates brought the entire app to the next level.

My kid loves it, so I love it.

### 5/5 — BEST VISUAL SCHEDULE APP

*2021-09-24, version 1.0.5*

School used to be a disaster for us, but I started using this for our homeschool schedule and it’s exactly what we needed to keep my three kids on task. They really like having their own goallys too… they’re for sure more independent and can challenge each other to win rewards

### 5/5 — Great for kids

*2021-09-23, version 1.0.5*

Great tool for kids that is totally customizable for them.

### 5/5 — I have hope now!!!

*2021-09-22, version 1.0.5*

My son has ADHD, like BAD ADHD. He can never focus on anything. Anytime I try and get him to do his homework, he is running around playing with his Minecraft pickaxe. If we are outside, he is trying to chop down a tree with the pickaxe. I try and get him to eat his dinner and he’s got that freaking pickaxe in his plate! I started using Goally to try and keep him focused and it’s been great! The ADHD tools and visual schedule keep him on track so well. Now he can see how much time he has for every activity and a points system to encourage him to keep working. I now have hope for him to be independent and not need me for everything!

### 5/5 — Awesome for kids with ASD

*2021-02-19, version 1.0*

We’re using Goally with kids with ASD and it’s a total game changer. If they respond well to visual schedules, Goally takes it to the next level.
