### 4/5 — Some problems

*2025-07-16, version 17.1.39*

When the tablet is charging it doesn’t automatically turn on. So in the morning he misses the first launch and if too much time passes it won’t allow me to launch it when there’s another launch starting.

### 3/5 — ???

*2025-02-25, version 17.1.11*

Is there a different app for your kid or do you just control from your phone

### 3/5 — Program is great, but so glitchy

*2023-11-27, version 16.1.15(14)*

I love the ability to help my adhd kiddo with routines. The app is just so glitchy. It crashes when I try to edit routines, and when I upload pictures it says “file not found” - but then it does save it. It needs updates clearly, but in theory it’s great

### 3/5 — Device

*2023-01-12, version 16.0.52*

I bought the iPad. my son dropped the iPad on its side once, and the LED light must have broken! I don’t think they are very durable items. I would not recommend the iPad! The app is great though!

### 4/5 — Great for independence

*2020-03-31, version 13.6.9*

The Goally has helped our special needs daughter become independent in so many ways. It has also helped us to have less conflict as we are not constantly telling her what to do. Goally has great customer service for both the device and with ideas on how to use it to help our special kids gain more independence. The only reason for 4 stars is it is still in the development stage so there have been bugs that need worked out. But again, the customer service is great when that happens. We recommend this device to other families regularly!

### 5/5 — So much less emotional outbursts!

*2020-03-17, version 13.6.9*

So happy with our devices! My two with ASD and ADHD finally remember what they are supposed to do and the order of which to do them! The Goally has cute noises that sound to remind them if they get distracted and they love talking about what rewards they are earning their points for. They get excited to do their chores to earn points and more importantly it removes ‘naggy mom’ from the whole equation and no more feelings from them that they can’t do anything right!

### 5/5 — Goally Grows with you

*2020-03-11, version 13.5.5*

We love that our three kids have their own Goally device, all of the routines are customized just for their individual goals and needs. We can easily change any routine, order, time, reward, behavior and support our children if needed- from a different room. Our babysitters, grandparents and even some teachers can all login and help support the needs of our children. Our behavior therapist are able to get a Data sheet and graphs sent to them to be aware of growth and to see where improvements need to be changed. I have definitely started having extra cash back in our account each month, now that I don’t need to laminate and replace so many other charts, graphs or other systems that just haven’t helped. My kids love their Goallys and we always tell everyone. Cheers!

### 5/5 — Amazing Tool for Autism and ADHD

*2019-12-10, version 13.3.3*

My family has been using Goally since July 2019, and could not be happier with the results. This is a well thought-out concept to help children with autism or ADHD and their families. It encourages independence in the children, and really helps to reduce stress in the family as a whole.

Furthermore, the Goally team is extremely helpful and always available for all of us, the Goally users. They make us feel like part of their family. Also, they are always working to improve the app to make the Goally experience the best it can be, especially for the children who rely on it and grow from it. I enthusiastically recommend this device and app!

### 3/5 — Great concept, needs work

*2019-09-07, version 12.9.6*

We found the device and accompanying app to be a great concept though not well executed. The Goally device is sluggish and slow to respond to commands, as is the app when trying to program routines and activities. I think this could be a fantastic tool as the programmers work out the kinks and streamline the device and app in the months and years ahead.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cheep product

*2025-01-03, version 16.1.100*

First date screen broken we didn't use one day and was not friendly use full

### 1/5 — App not working

*2024-01-07, version 16.1.28*

I can’t even sign in 😒

### 1/5 — Can’t Get Pass Setup Screen

*2024-01-02, version 16.1.28*

I’ve tried multiple times to simply set up a profile for my kid and I can’t get pass putting in her name. It just freezes. I’ve deleted the app, reloaded it, updated my phone, turned my phone off and on, had her dad try, and nothing. What a waste.

### 1/5 — Gave up

*2023-04-18, version 16.0.70*

I was super excited to use this app. But i literally spent hours trying to set it up. I was almost crying from the frustration. It’s not worth it at this point.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2022-10-05, version 16.0.34*

Loads to a blank screen. Helpful.

### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work

*2022-08-29, version 16.0.29*

This platform is full of headaches just for set up. There is a lot that needs to be worked out so I plan to ask for a refund. The app crashes repeatedly. You have to click through the set up prompt every single time you go in to routines. You can create a routine for your kids and it will disappear from your phone but stay on their tablet so they end up with multiple routines but you aren’t able to change or delete them. It’s honestly not worth the price. Great concept, but execution isn’t there.

### 1/5 — App has too many bugs for company to do away with platform

*2022-08-17, version 16.0.29*

I love the app for my son with autism it is a great tool. But for me the Goally care team app doesn’t work and I just read the web portal is getting shut down. Please don’t shut it down. Whenever I get a notification from the care team app, it simply opens the app for me and doesn’t lead me to any sort of direct notification. I can’t see from my end what routines or activities he is doing unless I manually go in and look. I would like to be notified with specifics (i.e. what activity he is currently doing, what activities he has skipped, etc) it’s just not that user friendly to be doing away with the web portal entirely

### 1/5 — Huh?

*2019-02-18, version 11.4.6*

I only played with this app for a minute before I got too frustrated to go further. I couldn’t find a way to enter a 2nd child. Maybe the app is supposed to go on my kids device??? Not sure how I would connect to it or monitor it if that’s the case?? Found no way to edit routines? It said it wanted to connect to my WiFi and to enter a code I was given?? I saw no code. I’m out.

### 2/5 — Over-promised, Under-delivered

*2023-04-08, version 16.0.65*

Parents: it's going to frustrate you to the point that you won't use it. Its glitchy to start. Common recommendations are to log out, uninstall, etc. You have precious little time and you don't want to lose days to setting this up. You also don't want to waste $20 a month until you realize it is not you that's the problem, it's the app suite. They need to work on making the app more seamless and make the features that could help our kids the most (routines!) easier to use. It's not there yet. It could get there, but it's too glitchy and expensive for 2023.

### 2/5 — Isn’t Free

*2023-02-18, version 16.0.58*

While the app is free to download, the service is not free to use. There is not “In-app Purchases” indicator and there is no verbiage in the description indicating this either.

### 5/5 — Big deal for our family

*2025-10-01, version 17.1.52*

We’ve been using Goally for about 6 months now and it’s our son is infinitely more independent now.

We didn’t pressure him to use it for the first month. He just played on it and explored when we let him. Then we asked him if he wanted to do a night CoPilot and he agreed. Over time we’ve added more to it and he uses it for all of his mornings and nights.

### 5/5 — Love Goally

*2023-05-15*

This product was designed from day one for kids with adhd and autism but it doesn’t matter if you have a diagnosis or any condition. It’s great for kids who need help getting organized and being more independent.

### 5/5 — Daughter loves it

*2023-04-28, version 16.0.70*

Using Goally she has better sleep habits than everyone else in my family

### 5/5 — Great updates

*2022-11-06, version 16.0.38*

first off, the parent app to match the kid app is genius. i'm the caretaker of a boy named travis and the parent app helps me keep up with how he's feeling/his goally progress all with MY phone.

i looove the fact i can change or control anything remotely. for instance, i'll upload my own pics and create unqiue routines for travis instead of using the premade one's. the routines go right to his goally & he's responded super well to the personalization. 10/10 love love love.

### 5/5 — I can’t imagine life without goally

*2021-09-24, version 16.0.11*

This makes it so easy to manage my autistic son’s Goally throughout the day. I can track his behaviors and quickly edit his Goally routines from my phone. I just added custom photos and videos to his Goally from my own camera roll... let me tell you, what an UPGRADE. It’s just nice in general getting to tweak things with the click of a button on my phone.

### 5/5 — Total time saver

*2021-09-23, version 16.0.11*

App helps to make it easy manage my kiddos routines and make adjustments easy for when things need a minor update.

### 5/5 — Best autism app I’ve seen yet!

*2021-09-22, version 16.0.10*

My son has autism a d it’s been a real struggle. I’ve tried so many different things to keep him focused and engaged in learning but nothing has worked. That is until I tried Goally. Goally’s autism app is great for encouraging him to do good things and discouraging bad things. It’s really changed our whole families lifestyle and I’m so happy I found Goally!

### 5/5 — Transformed our lives

*2020-03-31, version 13.6.9*

Goally has changed our lives. I no longer nag our son nonstop to complete basic tasks like getting ready for bed or cleaning his room. Goally lets us create different routines that take him through step by step. Best of all, he feels involved in creating them and will ask for changes that help him do things in a way that makes sense to him and evolve as he grows and his needs change. He has more confidence, and we don’t fight about things like putting on socks or brushing teeth. We all love it!! There is a learning curve at first, but the customer support is beyond phenomenal.
