Today one of the questions was asking what price and discount is cheaper and I chose “$45 at 5% off,” but it said the answer was “$55 dollars at 20% off.” Yes, $55 minus 20% is less than $45, but the question said $45 WITH 5% OFF NOT simply $45. 55-20%= 44 and 45-5%= 42.75. I get a “something went wrong” screen every time. I thought they’d fix it after a few days, but no. It’s been a week and I can’t even access my card. There is no reason to “charge kids” or their parents for the ability to make a few trades a year. If trades exceed a certain amount, I could appreciate a certain tier of pricing. Worked fine until one day, out of the blue all accounts were closed with maybe an hours notice (via email). Customer service said it was something to do with the bank verifying my identity, with no solution, even though I’m completely willing to prove my identity. I tried registering with another email address, but I guess it’s linked to my phone number. So I’m completely locked out for no reason. ### 1/5 — New update doesn’t work *2024-04-14, version 7.4.3* I used to enjoy this app for an easy way to manage my children’s allowances and help them learn about finance. The new “update” that was just installed does not function—the app will not open at all now, meaning there is no way to access the funds stored with GoalSetter.
