For the most part, if you’re in Goa for a holiday, I think it will serve you well— particularly if you schedule the trip back to the airport ahead of time. For those living in Goa, the results are decidedly mixed. Drivers are generally helpful and good at jobs. That said, drivers often don’t check the app before your trip, typically opting to call you and ask you to explain where you are and where you’re going to them despite them supposedly having access to the information. Additionally, if you have anywhere you’re going (particularly during the off season), make sure to schedule a trip in advance or else you will not be able to get a car. Additionally, i am not sure if the app tells the drivers that some trips are scheduled in advance. Often the driver will show up early and annoyed that they are expected to wait. Goamiles has often been very useful but is a limited app. I am glad that uber is not an option in Goa for the sake of the drivers here. That, in addition to customer and driver safety, is the most important thing. That said, at times GoaMiles is inconvenient and has messed up my plans that I made with the assumption that I’d be able to get a cab. ### 2/5 — Never any drivers *2026-02-21, version 1.1.66* Great app, easy to download and eventually deposited some money in order to use it but it takes forever to get a ride. We tried to book a ride from Anjuna beach at 10pm on a Friday night and it took 30 mins to get a driver - from one of the busiest places on the busiest night. How is that possible! ### 1/5 — Disappointing & Suspicious Experience with GoaMiles *2026-02-19* We had to book a ride from Anjuna to Dabolim Airport and, to avoid any last-minute stress, we contacted customer service in advance to confirm availability. We were clearly assured that airport rides are always fulfilled and that we would definitely get a cab on time. However, the next day when we tried to book, the app did not allow us to proceed without first adding money to the wallet. After adding money, we repeatedly attempted to book a cab but never received a confirmed ride. When we contacted customer care again, the response was simply, “Place your booking, you will get a confirmation,” which clearly did not happen. There was no real assistance or accountability. This experience felt extremely unreliable and stressful, especially when trying to catch a flight. It gives the impression that the app creates artificial urgency or demand, leaving customers stranded and pushing them to book expensive local taxis at the last minute. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend relying on this service for important trips like airport transfers **Developer response:** Dear User, We are really sorry for the inconvinience caused. Also payment process is extremely patchy ### 1/5 — Where does this app work? *2026-02-18, version 1.1.66* I have been trying this app for the last week, I was only able to get a taxi from the airport. Not a single one after that. If your stay in Goa relies on this app, you are in for a HUGE disappointment. ### 1/5 — Local Uber alternative but worse *2026-02-18, version 1.1.66* This app is like Uber, which most other cities in India allow, but it’s clearly worse. Money must be preloaded while half the payment processors don’t work. Drivers regularly accept rides and never show up to collect the high cancellation fee. Taxi’s will ignore requests, and I had one driver not care about the safety of a single female on their own and wouldn’t drive a further 20m to help. If you can, look elsewhere, however this GoaMiles monopoly they’ve built themselves needs to go. ### 1/5 — Goamiles Refund Scam and Zero Customer Support *2026-02-08* My experience with Goamiles has been extremely disappointing and honestly feels like a scam. I made a prepaid booking through their app which was later cancelled from their side. Initially, the refund was credited, but shockingly the same amount was deducted again without any explanation or authorization from me. Since then, I have been trying to contact their customer support through emails and messages, but there has been absolutely no response. It has been days and my money is still not returned. There is no transparency, no accountability, and no proper customer support system in place. This kind of behavior is unacceptable for a travel platform that handles customers’ money. Cancelling bookings, reversing refunds, and then completely ghosting customers creates serious trust issues. I would strongly advise others to think twice before using Goamiles, especially for prepaid bookings, unless you are willing to risk your money and peace of mind. **Developer response:** Dear User, We are extremely sorry for the inconvinience caused.Please use the chat option on our application and we will look into it. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-01-31, version 1.1.66* They charged me double (online and cash) and wouldn’t even explain what the online fee is for. Note there was no parking or toll fees incurred. And whenever we pick a dropping point it always changes the location it self coz of which we will have to pay extra or the driver will ford us saying the location isn’t the same as dropping point and than at the end the location will be the same and the driver starts to blame us for directing them in wrong direction and will of course charge a lot extra. Very bad experience plus the customer service also don’t support not takes any action they’ll just say that “we are sorry that we can’t help you in this matter” bla bla bla.
