Just wish it had more print options! ### 4/5 — 3D is a Game Changer *2025-09-21* Overall this app is incredibly unique and useful with the 3D visualization. However, I’d love to see GoArmy Edge take this app to the next level by adding back pedaling and strafing to better simulate a zone defense and DBs as the ball is snapped. **Developer response:** Thank you for using GoArmy Edge Football! Good news - the app already has this functionality! While using the "Draw Routes" tool in the Play Editor, you can select the tool menu in the bottom right to change the "Default movement type." Any new routes you draw will use this movement type. If you want more fine-grained controls, you can select individual path segments for a player and chance the movement type. This allows you to chain multiple movement types (for example, backpedal, then shuffle, then run forward). But being a coach and being able to draw this information up and show it to the kids in live speed is so helpful. It doesn’t matter what position or side of the ball you coach, this can save you a lot of time. Yes it does have ads by Army, cause it was made by them, that is understandable and doesn’t hinder the performance whatsoever. The positions I have coached have learned a lot faster since I installed this app. ### 5/5 — Close To Perfect *2019-04-27* I am a multiple championship winning high school football coach. This app is an amazing football teaching tool. I suggest it to every coach I talk ball with. They have tutorials online if you get stuck. Have to call a Army recruiter for full access, but they give it automatically. No hassle at all. You can't beat the price either, it's totally free. Edge Football can support six-man football playbooks! Two ways to set this up: 1) When creating a new Default Playbook, set "Default Player Count" to "6". 2) When creating your Personnel Groups, you can manually set how many of each position are available, from one to twelve players. Once you've set up your Personnel Group(s) with six players, now create your Formations and Plays using those Personnel Group(s). While there isn't a dedicated keynote for specific plays feature, there are two existing features that may work for what you need. You can use Telestration to add notes directly on the field, and you can add notes in the Drills feature. With the new update on IOS when using screen lock (which I do) it cuts off the name of the plays when scrolling up and down.
