The overall idea of the app as a walker is a lot of fun. The more routes they add the more interesting I believe this app will be. However, at the moment the app is synced to my apple health and yet it’s not tracking my steps to make progress on the routes. 

I’ll “start” the route, and then stick it in my pocket or do other things since I don’t want to actually watch the entire apps progress for hours on end. When I’m done walking I’ll pull up the app and it’s randomly stopped. It will say “GoAtlas steps” 10, but the “steps today” section says 8500 (?!). Because of this I am not making any traction on my routes. I’ve gone mere feet according to GA and realistically I’ve walked dozens of miles.  Hopefully the developers can fix this!

We identified what's causing GoAtlas steps to show a low number when the app is in the background for a long time, even though Apple Health has the correct count. A fix is coming in the next update that will recover your actual steps and distance when you return to the app.
