Goodness this app is slow to close out tickets. It takes about 4-5 minutes to close a ticket out. This means you cannot close the app, so you’re stuck staring at a refresh screen for 4-5 minutes. I’d love this app if it wasn’t so slow. ### 2/5 — Good reports, terrible customer service & expensive *2025-10-20, version 17.4.0* I’ve used GoCanvas for many years and the reporting options are good, but the pricing and changes to minimum licensing numbers and 12-month term make it too expensive. It’s really disappointing. It’s a solid product, but the rigid contract terms and lack of flexibility mean I’ll be moving away from GoCanvas. Will be looking for another service ### 1/5 — Worst app ever. *2022-04-17, version 11.14.11* This app constantly logs you out and forces you to log back in and then go back through the steps to get to where you were before it logged you out. This app is required at work so I use it all day. It’s counter intuitive. Simply maddening. They add these “services” just so they can make it seem like they are doing something special just to have another reason to raise rates. We have never used any of these special services, we use the basic proposal log & that is all. They do not offer a basic plan for this stuff, they are wanting to charge the same $65 a month fee regardless of what you use. I started out paying $20 a month now it’s 3 times higher! ### 1/5 — Crashes upon submitting, EVERYTIME *2022-01-12, version 11.14.8* I’m literally in tears as I write this, I tried over 5x to submit my report and it has crashed each & every time upon submission; I’ll get to the very end just for something to happen where it crashes and doesn’t save my report and I have to redo it. Why? Writing this review after calling repeatedly customer service and sales on a Friday morning/afternoon, no answer. ### 4/5 — Love this app *2020-12-03, version 11.13.2* I love using this app it is not only easy to use but very easy to make your own custom forms as well. The only part of this version of the app I find cumbersome is the email recipients section. In the Android app you are able to just start typing the recipients on the email line and it auto fills from your contacts whereas in the iOS version you need to click on the contacts tab, click on search then start typing the email of the person you want it to go to. This is a small problem but when you have multiple people you need to send a work order to it wastes more time then necessary. What used to take one tap now takes multiple taps and screens to input information. I'm not sure what prompted it but it would be great to go back to the last version! ### 1/5 — was better *2026-06-24, version 18.0.0* last update they messed up the search submitted submission used to be separated by date and i could pick different forms now you can’t not good now !!! you know sometimes app gets an update and it’s better, not this time, older version was way better🙁 all the 5 star reviews are from 10 years ago version 18 is bad user experience is bad version before last refresh was way better ### 1/5 — Version 18.0.0 *2026-06-20, version 18.0.0* The so called “refreshed user experience” isn’t so fresh once you actually start using the application. First off, the developers completely changed everything around, so if you like to go on scavenger hunts, then this new version is just for you! Secondly, trying to add pictures to line items is abysmal as the user must click the button several times to actually add the photos into the report. Overall, I rate the new version with 1 star and that’s generous. If I could review it with zero stars, I would happily do so. Sometimes it’s best to just let things as they are if they are not BROKEN. I also think the developers get so bored that they create these “updates” just so they have complaints such as the one I’m writing now, just so they can be “productive” at work. ### 1/5 — Good system horrible company *2025-04-03, version 17.0.0* My company has been using the app for around 3 years now. The month price has gone from $50 to $115 a month and is set to go to $147 a month shortly. Also, they decided that monthly wasn’t good enough and want to bill you annually. They did all this with a 10 day notice and when you try to cancel you can’t. Can’t cancel online. Have to call or submit a ticket. When you call you can’t get through to billing. Only tech support. When you submit a ticket, they take days to get back to you and even then won’t answer your questions or help resolve the issue. In order to cancel you have to submit a written notice (yes written, sent via mail) 30 days prior to cancellation. They can’t cancel if you’re in the middle of a billing cycle though. And they can’t answer as to when you’re actually able to cancel. At $49 per user, per month, WITH a 3 user minimum, billed annually…$$1,764 Plus taxes! I am looking elsewhere. Update: 12/13/2014 1630cst So do not use this app much, but as stated, all still stands. Anyways because I used it so rarely they changed me to free for a couple years and that was nice. Unfortunately, they are back to pricing… but weeks later the front mouth piece says someone will get with me because they cannot answer the simple question of how much. It will probably not be worth it, if it is so secretive. 5y ago: Decent app, but buggy. Everything costs extra, less, if you share. Admittedly I haven’t created a lot of forms because of the issues, But forms are good overall, just not ideal. They come out too lengthy. Entry is easy, except pictures, albeit not difficult. Customer service has been rude. Emails received are written incorrectly. All my computers/tablets/phones run the current OS yet I receive an email that reads I’m the problem and need to update! 😳 Past interactions with CS is as if I’m putting them out and interrupting their day..for their errors... and now the most recent, my card works, but they state they’ve sent me previous emails and this is their final! Yea, ok...they must be some angry people over there, management should lighten up or straighten them up... ### 1/5 — Slow. I was browsing shortcuts trying to unlock the “allow untrusted shortcuts” option in settings. All because I wanted to get a shortcut I’d seen at the flekst0re that allows you to make new icons for your current apps. But I had to create and run a shortcut before I was allowed to unlock the option to allow untrusted shortcuts in settings. Now that I’ve done so, I let my mind wander and ended up seeing something that led me to this app at the App Store.
