Today, for the third time in two weeks, I arrived at a stop, well ahead of the scheduled arrival time (15 mins ahead just now).  I watch the expected arrival in the app counting down the minutes until it indicates "due".  No bus shows up, then the app ticks over to 59 minutes.  The "missed trip" today is because of an equipment failure.   Said broken down bus was sitting in front of me the entire time in "out of service" status.  The people who manage the schedules knew about the outage well before then.  I know because I spoke to the driver of the broken down bus.  The app itself might be just fine but it is only as good as it's data.  When the admins know about an outage or schedule change, they need to ensure that it is reflected in the app in real time.
