## What is GoCC4All?

GoC4All provides individuals who are deaf-blind with a way to access TV programming and emergency alerts on mobile devices and braille displays. Its customizable features make it easy to adjust it to the needs of people with different levels of vision and/or hearing loss

TV Access Features: access to TV captions, easy customization of caption size on mobile devices, speed control of captions shown on braille displays, compatible with different braille displays

Emergency Alert Features (available for users who are 18 years old or older): sends alerts applicable to the area where the user is located, the user can enter information for a primary contact who can receive the user's location when the user is in an area of immediate high risk, the user can send their location to their primary contact at any time. The emergency alerts are originated by the US Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS)

Versions lower than iOS 10.0 are currently experience problems with Emergency alert services. We are working to resolve this.

The description of this app fail to mention it is intended for persons with auditive or visual disabilities, living in 
Latin America. The access to resources needs a registration and is limited to these persons with special needs or persons responsible for them. See the Web site to fully understand and appreciate the merit of the organization behind GoCC4all.

This new version of GoCC4All includes:
- Capacity to display emergency alert messages in Spanish when available.
- The app now opens in the Emergency alerts section instead of the TV section.
- The emergency contact will now receive SOS messages and severe emergency alerts directly on their phone by downloading the app. Previously, the emergency contact was only receiving an email.
- Screen contrast, voice-over capabilities, and some wording have been improved.
- A credits tab was added to the About Section of the app.
- It now offers the capability to move/recover the user's account on other devices.
- Improved the user registration process.

- "Always allow" option for significant location updating. This delivers accurate emergency alerts to the user even when the app is not opened after a significant location change.

- Added an onboarding "Opt-in" screen to allow users to easily register and allow location services without needing to search the app for it.
