It is a creative puzzle game. But the controls are very janky when you have so many elements on the screen. I am trying to rotate something when suddenly another element gets activated. There needs to be a way to lock controls when interacting with another. Also, I do not support in-app purchases. I will pay more for a game up front and not buy anything else. But don’t spend money on it because it feels like it’s a dead game with no new boards. ### 3/5 — Time Ran Out *2021-10-01* It’s such a clever puzzle with great graphics, until the levels where the light must be charged, and then it only lasts a few seconds. I have to race the clock to go through a set process to get past the level. So many clever puzzles seem to rely on a timer to add advanced levels. I want to enjoy the experience, not play beat the clock. Puzzles are challenging and great to share with friends. Got this game 2 years ago and forgot about it when I finished all levels. The only problem I have is with the control “buttons” in the upper left hand corner of the screen. When a game element appears in that corner and I touch it, it stops the game. This is minor because all I need to do to get going again is press the arrow button but it is still a bit annoying. April, 2017 update. I re-downloaded this game and I still love it but some of the previous "modules" seem to be missing and, whenever I have to stop playing to do something else, I lose my place. I'm playing on my new, completely updated iPad. Original review: I'm playing the updated version for the first time and I like it as much as I liked the first one. Want more! ### 4/5 — Great game, a few problems *2017-08-25* This game deserves 5 stars for being extremely innovative and gorgeous and compulsively playable. I had to take a star off because occasionally your character (who is really lovable) is placed exactly where the pause button is, or exactly where your hint button is. This is VERY annoying and really ruins these levels. Also, the controls are a bit sticky and it's sometimes very difficult to get your light beam to stick where you want it. And it crashed a few times. If these things are fixed, this would be a perfect game. Well worth the money, even with these problems, though. ### 4/5 — Great game, terrible hint system *2017-08-23* The game is very well done - challenging gameplay, beautiful graphics, good controls. I rated 4 instead of 5 because of the hint system. You get free hints but have to endure a 30 second ad for each one. 30 seconds is just too much. If you buy them you get 30 for a dollar. Where this gets confusing is that to use a hint you click the hint fly-thing, drag it to where you want to see and the hints keep subtracting the longer you look. I started with 30, selected the hint fly, drug it out and in about 5 seconds all my hints were gone. Oops, I didn't put the hint fly away so it was automatically using up hints. NOT my idea of spending a relaxing afternoon playing a great game... Time to find something else to play I guess. I'm done with this one, simply because of the advertising garbage. Now greedy developers have changed it, and there are ADS... In a game I paid for... I’m so sick of this stuff. We pay for apps then the developers change the rules on us... like Angry Birds... Mortal Kombat... The games and content we pay for and own is suddenly gone with some mess that requires watching an ad every minute or two or requires spending money to play longer than ten minutes. I really am starting to hope that eventually there’s a class action lawsuit over having what we paid for disappear or be changed into something completely different... not to mention how apps we choose not to update now seem to mysteriously “break” though they worked fine before the app update and there’s no ios update. Isn’t that accessing our phones etc without permission? I’m so sick of all this greed. Everywhere. If I created an app, I’d rather make a million being a good company with a good fair product and happy customers than two million screwing people over. This is exactly why climate change isn’t being curtailed... so many people just care about MORE now with no care about anyone else. I've never found a game similar to this and if I did I would play it all the time.
