Frozen out again today. *2025-07-22, version 5.2.9* Frozen out again today as the app is failing to load. When it does load it works well but can be frustratingly glitchy considering the amount of money that can be spent on auction domains when using this app. ### 2/5 — Buggy *2024-08-28, version 5.2.3* Anyone else get 4 text messages when logging in? Maybe that’s due to mixed listing types in the latter, but it almost negates that one’s usefulness. ### 2/5 — feeling like a waste of money *2023-08-28* about 2 1/2 years ago I decided reselling domains with a professional storefront was a game changer (still do). I remember making my first real dollars after selling a domain I had purchased through this app. fast forward I decided to renew my account & I’ve begun re-reselling domains but haven’t been able to bid on/buy ANYTHING!! the developers definitely set it & forgot it with this app… **Developer response:** Hi Jo, Thanks for using the GoDaddy Investor App and providing feedback. It works and I can see domains in the tab “radar” 2. Work push. When somebody bids I get notifications 3. I can see domain metrics and bids. Bad moment: 1. I don't see my bids (that I did on the web) in the tabs: “Bidding”; “Watching”; “Won” 2. I see the button “Bid now” in the tab “Lost”, it confuses me because bud lost a lot of days ago. All good, but for me important see bids from the tabs “Watching” and “Won”, but they don't work. ### 1/5 — App glitched; charged twice for domain *2022-07-02* I was kicked out of the app while paying for domains, so I went through to pay for the domains again. The end result was that I was charged twice. When I reached out to be refunded for the duplicate charge, customer support said could return it as store credit. When I pressed further, they said that I couldn't receive a refund for the domain renewals and that I would get 2 years. That's a ridiculous SOP and shows that GoDaddy cares about quick money over having long term customers. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2022-03-22, version 4.6.2* I wonder how can a multimillion dollar company have such a buggy app? Godaddy you need to retire these developers and hire some good ones. Every update has issues, one thing works the other thing doesn’t. ### 1/5 — Totally unreliable. Always stuck circle trying to login *2022-03-16* When it works it's nice but it usually kicks me out for my security and then when i try to log back in it does faceid and just gets stuck in the circle loading cursor forever. Totally annoying I usually end up logging in from web. ### 3/5 — Unreliable, but great idea in general *2022-03-12* It worked better a few weeks ago, but even then you could not rely on it. Do not trust this app as your only way to bid. It crashes without warning, often, including just as an auction you’ve bid on ends, so you have to reload it to see how your bid did. The ‘watching’ feature sometimes doesn’t take, so you’ll think you’ve watched some names, but the app never recorded your choices. Often the app thinks you’re not watching any names at all. Reload it and hope for the best. I have it on an ipad and an iphone, and neither can be trusted. They’re great for general convenience, but when you’re doing something important, use a laptop/desktop or the actual godaddy site to be safe. ### 1/5 — Can’t even login to the app anymore *2022-02-08, version 4.5.11* Please put more manpower behind this app. It is so crucial and has the potential to become an amazing app for godaddy. God bless. ### 1/5 — Ended listings still live *2022-01-31* I bought this app. I found a domain and clicked on buy it now. There was a problem with it adding to the cart (it’s wouldn’t add). I tried in the browser version as well. I rang godaddy and asked what the problem was. After going round in circles for a long time, I was told the listing actually ended yesterday!! And that the app just wasn’t updated and that all listings can take up to 24 hours to update. What is the point of an app that has ended listings with buy it now buttons on them, making me think they are stil for sale. What a waste of my time today. If I want to find a domain in the $100 range on GoDaddys marketplace, I can’t do this on this app. That really says it all. ### 1/5 — There is no middle finger big enough *2024-02-16* These coital-headed parasites made two seperate unauthorised charges to two seperate bank accounts of mine. My interactions with the "service" have been exclusively through the App Store. That didn't matter though because they retained my banking information from a previous purchase made using their scam domain hosting services. They bypassed Apple Pay (because it would have meant they had to articulate what I had been charged for) and without my consent, any form of notification, or an explanation of the service rendered, they directly debited my accounts. Transparency and customer consent are crucial for any transaction but this company doesn't care. They also continued billing me long after I my domain service had expired and I had requested it's cancellation. ### 1/5 — IM JUST CONFUSED… HOW DO YOU LIST YOUR DOMAINS? *2024-01-21, version 5.2.2* Go daddy since the very start has made it difficult to list domains for auction. Why the ability to do so in this app is beyond me…oh but wait you can look at the domains you bought! Lol 😂 ### 1/5 — No functionality for Sellers *2023-10-20* Terrible App. Guys we are in 2023 , it cannot be so difficult to develop an app for Buyers and Sellers and with a decent Front End. The overall interface of Godaddy ( app and desktop) stayed in 2007. A cannot follow any of the 650 auctions I am taking part as a Seller. ### 1/5 — Can’t access with Google account *2023-09-05, version 5.1* Only GoDaddy accounts are allowed.
