My own child recently graduated, and the growth I watched in them academically, socially, and emotionally was incredible. Working here, I know how much heart goes into every classroom, and experiencing it as a parent confirmed that. The Goddard Family Hub was such a gift, keeping me connected to my child’s day with photos, updates, and communication. There are few things they could improve upon but they are always making updates so you can tell they are trying to make the app better. Nice for messaging and getting photos. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No real time updates *2025-12-08, version 3.7.5* No real time updates so I have no idea if my child is eating well, sleeping well, etc during the day. For a young child, these are critically important. I would love to be able to better partner with the staff by picking up my child early or later based on whether they’re sleeping, eating vs skipping meals, etc. I also have zero idea what goes on during the day. I get that toddlers are hard and it’s tricky to get pictures, but without cameras, it’s the only way for me to verify what they’re actually doing and how I can reinforce that. Our prior daycare had a great app. ### 1/5 — Forced spam messages *2025-11-04, version 3.7.5* Most messages communicated through the app are marked as urgent when they are in fact, not urgent messages and more promotional and optional event messaging. This drives me crazy as a parent because I naturally think urgent messages mean there is something wrong with my child while in their care. Because of this, I am receiving forced spam messaging from the school. I have messaged my Goddard School because of this concern however what was communicated back was it is the only way for them to send text messages to parents and the app at the same time and how it was communicated to them by the program. ### 1/5 — Need live updates! *2025-10-23, version 3.7.4* Really bummed that this app doesn’t support live updates during the day. Since there aren’t cameras we can check in on, it would be nice to at least know if baby is napping/how much and when they ate/diaper changes/etc. Getting this information only once after picking baby up at night is not helpful at all. We pay a LOT of money to send our kids to Goddard, I feel like the least they can do is provide real-time updates. I also hate that we don’t get pictures until after pickup. ### 1/5 — Needs in the moment updates *2025-10-13, version 3.7.4* We NEED this app to include in the moment updates. Too often I come to pick up my infant when he’s in the middle of a nap because we don’t get updates about when he falls asleep. In order to put less stress on our baby’s teachers from having to message when he falls asleep and wakes up as well as putting it on the daily sheet, having the daily sheet automatically update just like every other daycare facility’s app does would be so beneficial. So much time is wasted because we don’t have automatic updates! Please fix this!! ### 1/5 — Lacks important features *2025-09-25, version 3.7.4* The app needs to be updated with the feature of live updates. If the school lacks indoor cameras, then live updates is the minimum to be provided!!! It also needs to include what snacks were provided during the day and if the child ate them or not. The “lessons” portion of the daily sheet doesn’t accurately reflect the curriculum covered in class, or at least for the younger toddlers. It’s more valuable to parents to get realistic learning content that they can follow in parallel at home. For example: today we sang this song, read this book, and learned these few numbers. Keep it simple. ### 1/5 — Live updates please *2025-09-05* I hate that you have to wait until the end of the day to get an update on when your child ate, how long they napped etc. That’s the entire purpose of the app, to let you know how your child is doing away from you!! Why can notifications not be pushed in real time? The photos are so confusing too, sometimes they appear in the feed, other times you have to go into the daily report. As somebody who doesn’t look at the daily report, because by the time you get it it doesn’t matter your child is back with you, a more consolidated location for photos would be appreciated. Switch to Procare or improve this app please!! ### 1/5 — Enable notifications *2025-08-26* My son is in Goddard’s aftercare program and I have no indication of where he has reached Goddard from his elementary school or not. I think not having a way to proactively communicate with parents that their kids have been picked up and brought to school is an absolute disservice. I have no issues with the center itself but it’s hard to justify cost when the basic safety concerns are not met. It can be crazy in the morning trying to get multiple kids ready and out the door. We try to enter information in the calm before the storm but things happen like the baby needs a quick diaper change before leaving. The app needs a way for us to edit the drop off note as things could change between when we enter and drop off. It also doesn’t have a field to enter pick up time which would be helpful for daycare providers. When our son was potty training I noticed there isn’t a field to enter when he went potty. During that time period that would be so helpful for us to communicate to the daycare providers at drop off. I don’t like that it doesn’t save our contact information and makes us enter it EVERY day.
