However, the levels are not graded appropriately. Easy levels can be almost impossible and hard levels incredibly easy. That said, it’s as if the entire Hard levels are easier than the easy levels. I’m not going to say that I recall whether that’s true to the original, or not. I don’t recall it being that way. However, I will say that it is disappointing nonetheless and reduces the quality of the game. It gets 4 stars from me solely due to nostalgia, since i’m happy to have it back. I’d give it 3 stars otherwise. ### 3/5 — Buggy port of original app *2025-12-04, version 1.6.0* Most of it works but several bugs make it a bit disappointing. Most annoying is that in some levels the difficulty and or increase in attacking waves does not happen. In one particular level with 40 waves you see the exact same 4 creeps over and over for the last several waves, making it easy to beat, and boring. There are medium levels that are far easier. It seems to start slow, which prevents you from getting upgrades. Then the creeps start pouring in on the third wave. Online walkthroughs seem to show a smaller level where the blaster is able to cover more area, but that’s not how my version of the level looks. ### 4/5 — Super das es wieder da ist, aber. *2025-08-20, version 1.6.0* Eins der besten Spiele die ich bislang gespielt hab. Allerdings muss ich sagen das die schweren Level zu einfach sind. Most units are too far apart for splash to do anything, improper target prioritization, missed shots Can’t restore purchases from previous version? Is this one going to be removed and I have to buy them again when it’s remastered again? ### 1/5 — IOS version not good *2025-12-26, version 1.6.0* The IOS version is near impossible to beat even on the easiest levels! This isn’t fun to play. Downloaded it yesterday, paid for the full version and already deleted it off the phone today. Das hier ist ein misslungener Remake. Die Grafik ist pixelig und das gameplay nicht so ausgewogen wie damals. Man fliegt nur so durch die Levels und hat die 30 Level Ruck zuck durchgespielt. Null Herausforderung. Verstehe die positiven Bewertungen nicht! Schade, war so ein geiles Spiel. Unfortunately the medium and hard levels weren’t hard at all. Often times I’d win on the first try without much effort. The original was quite challenging and I don’t think I made it past the medium levels but this one was so easy it wasn’t even fun any more by the end. ### 1/5 — Unbalanced *2024-12-26, version 1.6.0* This game started out fun then quickly became either way to easy or way to hard. The game is very unbalanced. Sometimes you are struggling for any money because the kill bonus remains to low for to long other times you have way to much money making the level way to easy. It just needs better growth and difficulty curve and it could be a pretty good game. ### 1/5 — Pale imitation *2024-09-28, version 1.6.0* Lacks the charm, sparkle and polish of the original game because it appears to have nothing to do with the original game. This appearance of passing off isn’t helped by the App Store aging a 2+ year old 1.0 release as 9+ year listing.
