I think it does not work on iOS 15!!! Poor show by Godrej. Also, if you have multiple Godrej Aer Smartmatic Devices and set them up on multiple mobile phones, it does not work!! Not expected from a reputed company like Godrej. Do not waste your money on this useless product. Even the smell of the room spray, even in a small closed bathroom, does not stay for more than a few minutes. It is a complete waste of money. ### 1/5 — The device does not connect properly *2022-01-13* The whole ‘smart’ functionality is dead when the device refuses to connect with the app/phone. I tried connecting it multiple times and not once did it work. Now I’m forced to just use it as a regular spray with squirts fragrance every 40 mins. No smart schedules, time tables or timers are working. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-07-03* It is very slow. And consistently so. Always keeps crying about low battery. I managed 2 months and the device was blowing the scent but still it kept saying low battery. Interface looks like when iPhone was first launched. The product is good and it is great to have the ability to schedule and spray without going near the device. But software that is so bad makes you wonder if you should buy refills. I don’t think the aer people care about the market or profits for that matter, or else the app wouldn’t stay neglected for so long. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Don’t buy *2023-06-23* I am trying for long time not able to receive OTP and also I tried with the different mobile numbers to receive OTP, but I am not received any OTP for any of the number. So it is not useful, and I am not started using due to infringement in the first step itself. I am requesting Godrej to resolve my issue and I do not know to contact concerned authority for this problem or otherwise. Please suggest the authorities detail. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-06-10* Worst app ever. Unable to login, not getting the otp. Raised a complaint to customer care, still no response from them. Why to make fools by releasing such so called smart products without not having proper service. The Smart matic app has only one job and it is not able to deliver that as well. Very dissatisfied ### 1/5 — Cannot signup *2023-05-07* App does not send out any OPT, you cannot login hence totally useless. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work! *2023-03-31* Stuck on the OTP page; Tried logging in via FB, to which the app says “this app is disabled & the developr is aware of this situation”. Login via Google worked, but putting in the phone number was mandatory, where you never get the OTP! All in all, stuck :D. The sprayer works manually though, but the entire point of having a smart scheduler failed! Returning all 3 devices together ### 1/5 — Not working on iphone 14 pro max or ios 16 *2022-11-21* Unable to set the schedule. I think it does not work on iOS 16!!! Poor show by Godrej. It always gives a message something went wrong. I hope developer rectifies the bug. Because of this we are not able to use the product as well. ### 1/5 — There’s some issue with your App *2022-11-06* “There’s some issue here” is the message displayed when trying to control or connect through the BT. Infact unable to connect with any device and throwing the same error message. Please get your bug fixed. Otherwise the app is a beautiful one. Hope you keep your bugs in control 😇 ### 1/5 — Does not connect with the device. *2022-10-11* The device connects with the app but then you are unable to control the features because when it tries connecting it displays an error message saying that it could bot connect please try again. A very disappointing experience. I thought Godrej would be true to its word but alas Corporate does not meant truth. Not even one answer by godrej to any of the queries. ### 1/5 — Unable to connect device *2022-07-31* After adding the device when I click on control device, it is showing unable to connect the device even if the device is connected through Bluetooth in Bluetooth menu. Now I am unable to schedule the device which is main purpose of buying it. ### 1/5 — Unable to control device *2022-02-09* Device is successfully connected to Bluetooth and configured in iPhone. But while controlling from list of my devices, it throws alert saying Unable to connect to device. But i think the app updated itself in few mins and then i was able to connect and use the app. Seems like a react native expo app. ### 5/5 — Aer at a click *2019-12-25* The app is very user friendly, no hassle to connect with device. Schedules works like a charm, just set it and forget it. Bluetooth enabling make it much more than just an app. Definitely recommended!! ### 3/5 — Machine cannot pair *2024-05-19* The app can find the machine but when trying to save, it cannot be saved - hence scheduling is not possible. The app too looks extremely basic as if nobody has ever worked on it again after its first release. Scheduler should have an option to turn on/off the device. This would allow us to turn of the device during certain time of the day. 2.
