I have found some workarounds to make your game a bit more accessible but, it has taken me three years to do so. Looking at the new update for the mini remote using commands and the microphone, some visually impaired persons might not understand what the new function is. I recommend that you do a video using voiceover to show the new function this way everyone can understand. You play the role of a personal diety to an adventuring hero. Your control over the hero is limited in that they act fairly autonomously. There's no intense grinding, the hero does that. But there is definitely scope to influence what happens, and occasionally, that influence is decisive. Despite the lack of direct control, there's plenty to keep you entertained. The game is built around humour & wordplay, with puns figuring prominently. There's considerable complexity in the hero's development & the gameplay process. There are social elements that become available as your hero advances. Its definitely a peculiar premise for a game and for me, its been enjoyable & entertaining. ### 5/5 — An comedic endurance game *2023-07-03, version 10.6.1* The only reason I downloaded this game was a) I was bored out of my mind and b) there were good reviews. I’ll write my own now. Godville is a majorly hands-off god simulator where you passively watch your hero journey around this fairytale world. You have the occasional responsibility to heal or punish your hero and this is done so you can usher him/her in the right (or your) direction. I know, it sounds alright now but why would you waste your time on it when you could be playing Clash Royale? The selling point for me comes with its quips and witty descriptions that never seem to fail to make me chuckle, or even outright laugh for a second. I’ve been with my hero for 7 days now and I am yet to miss one. It’s nice to sit back and just watch the journey of your hero unravel and I hope, and sort of expect, you guys to feel the same. 9.5/10 because it’s just great. No other words for it. ### 4/5 — Love this game... *2023-06-14, version 10.5* Lately I've been checking in to see what my heroine is up to, she's over 8 years old, and she's just dead but in a city. Seriously, at least once a day she's at 0 hp I guess just on the ground in a city where she'd normally rest up and heal? But my opponent used over 6 when i hadn’t used any and they weren’t supposed to be able to influence their hero until I did mine. But then when i ran out of influences they were still able to influence theirs and i couldn’t and I lost. I love that I am basically just watching someone’s life unfold. I love that I don’t even have to spend time playing this game to advance, I love my heroines witty comments and that she has her own ideas and can say no to me. She’s infuriating sometimes especially when I take my eyes off her and she dies like a little idiot but I still love her. I love the amount of time the creators put into this game, all of the articles that I can read when i’m trying to figure out what happened. It’s a beautiful game. Though I do understand it isn’t for everyone. I tried to show this game to a friend of mine and they said why would I waste my storage on something I can’t play. Completely understandable but I think there’s beauty in a story and this one gives me a lot of good laughs. ### 5/5 — Super creative! *2024-06-26, version 10.8.2* Although I’m not sure what to make of this yet (I just started), I love some of the things they’ve incorporated in the game: the newspaper and their own Wiki! I love that aspect of it. I haven’t seen that in any other game. It’d be cool to log into a game and instead of big boxes of events, you’d have a newspaper just like here. “Player so and so is…and player so and so…”. Plus a bunch of other stuff you’d expect to find in a newspaper. Then they have their own branded Wiki. I think that’s great! Why read a boring “How To” guide when you have a cool looking branded Wiki to search.
