## What is Gofy?

Gofy is a live map of what's happening around you — right now, not last month.

Every pin is a gem: a free entry, a 2×1, a flash deal, a gig, a market, a table that just opened up. Posted by people standing there, and verified in person by whoever turns up next.

VERIFIED, NOT CLAIMED
A gem only counts once somebody shows up and confirms it, and Gofy checks that you are actually there. That is the difference between this and a listings site: nobody can post a deal from their sofa.

LIVE ON THE MAP, RIGHT NOW
Something happening on your street? Press and hold the map and post it in one tap — pickpockets, a blocked road, ticket inspectors, a protest, a fire, a lost dog. It appears instantly for everyone nearby and clears itself once it stops being true: 35 minutes for inspectors, 12 hours for roadworks, 24 hours for a missing pet. People passing confirm it or mark it gone, so what you see is what people are seeing right now.
Reports come from other people and are not verified. Only report what you saw yourself, never a person, and call the emergency services in an emergency.

BRING YOUR PEOPLE
Switch on friends mode and you'll see where your friends are while they see you. It works both ways, only with friends who turned it on too, and your pin disappears a few minutes after you close the app. One tap turns it off everywhere. Chat, share gems and sort out the night without leaving the map.

YOUR CITY, RANKED
Verify gems to climb your city's monthly leaderboard, keep a day streak going, collect stickers and unlock badges from Explorer to Legend. Post gems that other people verify and you can earn from them.

FOR VENUES
Put your bar, shop or venue on the map. Post gems, host events, boost what matters and see who actually turned up. Free to start.

SAFETY AND REPORTING
Report any gem, profile, chat message or map report — long-press a message, or use the menu on a profile or a chat. Nine reason categories, from harassment to impersonation. Block anyone from the chat menu or in the same step as the report, and manage everyone you have blocked in Settings.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Gofy is free to use. Optional subscriptions unlock early access to new gems, members-only gems, community hosting and earning slots. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period. Manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
